I think we can try Azhar as an opener with Sami and have either Rizwan or that other guy ( forgot his name, my bad) play in the middle order but I hv this weird feeling that Hafeez ain't going anywhere and we hv to put up with this walking wicket many more years to come. This guy averages 20 outside Asia and we are still persisting with him, goes to show how our talent pool has dried up.

Nope, this is exactly what I said maybe six months ago. I knew he was going to fail big time and that has happened. We should have invested in someone else but we like to put in TTF and expect a good result.

These conditions are not even that tough. This is a good track for batting not a pure phatta but it isn't some minefield or greentops. Just Hafeezs pathetic shot selection and mental weakness to tough it out when trying to save the game.
