What's new

England beat South Africa by 2 wickets in a high scoring game

I hope you exhaust your quota like the Pakistani batsmen did in the Bangladesh game :ab
the Green Storm is coming sorry but Indians have no chance against the power of Afridi

I hope we do not have a match like this tomorrow, no way in hell can Pakistan tame India in a batting shoot out

England lost their cool here...they should be get going...SA is back in the game.

I hope 0(1) strikes us hard and brutal, and Stokkes gone :out
no no this time it will be 100 off 40. and all the Indians will be shell-shocked wondering what just happened stunned into silence by the green storm.

Losing too many wickets.. they will run out of steam and crash for 160-170 max

Actually that's exactly how you WILL tame us.

On a greentop we destroyed you for same reason. Our bowlers need help; yours don't.

Same way, your batsmen require the help, whereas ours do not.

I hope Pak scores 100+40 ,let alone Afridi :srt

They are going too fast0 they can afford to take 2-3 overs here and try to leave 115 for the last 10. without losing more wickets

Eng can chase this, but need to play Tahir smartly and not lose wickets regularly

That's not how it works. You can't guarantee that you won't lose wickets.

Going crazy in powerplay was the right idea.

Now it's a balanced normal game, because they bat very very deep and the run-rate does not require panicking.

They still have 4 class batsmen and three good hitters left so it's game on.

ENG has brought the asking to 10 by PP, but have lost 1 more than my liking. However, that was a floating wicket of Stokes - still Root, Morgan & Butler is there & Moin/Jordan/Adil can swing it.

Waiting eagerly and now Tahir going to Spin the the beloved Poms back to London!

David Willey is the opener for Northants (finalists) in T20 blast and has hit brutal innings.

Everyone except Topley can hit very hard and very well. If only they had Plunkett, they could have sent him instead of Stokes (he is a beastly hitter).

JP has been bowling it short

Bad over for Eng, needed to take advantage of JP

Spinner bringing South Africa back in control or may be England don't want to loose any more wickets in middle overs.

THey absolutely did the right thing- they have not been at all reckless in the last 3 overs.

Well in the game

These T20s are far closer than it looks - even if ENG can reach say 170/6 after 16 - that's 60 in 4 overs at Wankhede with that tail, not impossible - anything can happen.

I liked both from ENG & SAF, what PAK hardly tries - blast from the top. Slogging has an elasticity, no matter how many wickets at hand, after a certain rate, one can't slog, therefore it should be head heavy. Almost every team does that. PAK was also a tremendous T20 side when they had KAkmal, Nazir, Afridi ..... in Top 3.

England handling the spin well. Both batsmen aren't giving the dot balls. Looking to get settled before going for big shots, however, a boundary is still over due!

Finally, a batsman going back and hitting him for a six

He was bowling short throughout
