England's bowling is not very good. They need Broad and Woakes back.
 
This young new look England ODI team will only improve. All of these players should be given a long run. They all can score quickly and good athletes too. Bowling is also pretty decent.

Enough of Test quality tuk tuk batsmen like Cook, Trott, Bell. They are not good enough for the modern day Limited Overs Criket.
 
In the immortal words of Richie Benaud: "Whatever it is, it's not catching". Three chances down in 13 overs, one of them easy to Root.
 
NZ 185/2 after 29.5 overs... Looks like 350-400 on the cards again!

Elliot is losing NZL this game and Kane's lack of intent is shocking. Maybe he's getting selfish here, like Ross in that other game.
 
Ok seriously what's with England putting up these clown like kits for months now. These kits are laughable for even a club team, is Adidas really on crack ?

Why has he played so few matches? He is in his mid 30s i think? Newzealand have missed out on a very very good ODI player here who could have served them for hundereds of games.

He has played poorly today. Just one good over, but even now he is behind where he should be. Batted way too slow, and this will cost NZ.

Well that maybe the case. I just tuned in lol but i am guessing he had to hold one end up as they had lost 5 wickets???
Generally speaking he has been good in most of the matches i have seen him play in. Also bowls very good medium pace. Definitely a player who could have served NZ for many years.
 
From being a potential Ashes starter after game 1, Rashid has totally been off color - 0/72, 1/72 and now again at nearly 9 an over

6 6 0 6 4 6 - his last over!

Roy and Billings will presumably both be looking to score today or in the final game given they're the most vulnerable in the result of Ali's return.

No they were only 3 down with 12 or 13 overs left and he was 6 (19). In fact he sped up later.

This is a joke. You don't even understand cricket enough to realize that both players I criticized did poorly from then (Williamson was amazing early on but awful after power-play).

Santner saved NZL from sure loss. Deduct 30 runs and NZL don't even have a fighting chance with 320.

As it is, they just got par which you aren't advanced enough to realize is just a par score.

In this stupid form of ODIs any strike rate below 120 especially in the last 20 overs is not good enough.

Obvoiously them slowing dowb had nothing to do eith the fact that two best bowlers if the day - Finn and Wood were bowling?

But then what do we mere mortals know.
