not much in pitch today ... Pune surface is doing 4.3 degrees & fair bit of bounce too . 149/4

All our batters have thrown away starts.

These players will never amount to anything in Test cricket with this attitude and approach.
 
All good preparing spinning tracks but if you lose the toss and can't really play spin yourselves, your going to be in trouble

You have to be pretty darn stupid if you continue to try sweeping knowing that this is the shot many batsmen were out to yesterday.

The sweep is one shot you just don't play on this wicket.
 
If we lose the series, Shan needs to be immediately booted out of the team. This guy will always average in the 30s at good pitches.

Pakistani players have a tendency to give away wickets after the drinks break. Analyst needs to look into this. Same thing happened yesterday. Do they lose concentration this easily?
 
Hopefully Salman and Saud save us. Having a pitch that spins this much was a huge mistake because if you're an inferior team, you're just relying on the toss.
 
Rizwan avg 29 in the Champions one day cup and avg 19 this england test series.

On what basis is he out main batsmen and has been crowned spin Bradman?

Relax, its a skill issue as well. Match cannot be given on a plate. You have to earn it. At least this pitch gave a fighting chance otherwise england would be 800/5.
 
Jamal has 2 fifties in 6 Tests & avg of 30 ... 156/6 - 30 minutes to lunch !
 
The way Rizwan got out was utterly pathetic. Literally threw his wicket away. Who plays such an impatient shot in test cricket? Pathetic stuff. His eyes were literally closed by the end of his arm movement as he completely mistimed the shot.

Agha on the other hand is trying to read the pitch rather than the bowler’s hand. And again poor defensive technique.

Exactly, all useful commentary I provide gets met with trolling.

Atleast when I do it, I stay in reality.

Rizwan 19.8 avg this England test series. Got dismissed by a spinner 2x. Considered our priemere batsmen along with Babar 🤣

Preparing a spinning pitch has actually worked in Engs favour (once they were certain it was going to be spin) as they have 3 actual spinners unlike our duo and that showroom piece.
 
I wonder whether England will stick to the same approach in their 2nd innings, go on the attack before the pitch gets even worse?

It's more entertaining than the flat phattas and at least gave us a chance.
 
All hopes rest on Saud Shakeel now. He needs to score a hundred here. If Jamal can attack from one end then Pakistan can turn the tide on England
