i called it yesterday.. once ball gets softer , its not difficult to handle spin here.. its not minefield ..400 was on if our top order batters had applied themselves better
 
Outstanding knock by Saud, I also think Pakistan got away a little bit because England should have bought Atkinson on when Sajid was going wild

One is an allrounder ans the other a top order batsmen. Now which cricketer is doing his national duty and which cricketer is going to holiday in dubai?
 
handy lead, but if england get a lead of 150 Pakistan could fumble

He is a much-needed fighter and has passion,


but at the end of the day you've got to look at performances end of the day. in List A, Sajid doesn't have a single 5-fer and has an average of 37.

In the recent one-day domestic tournament he only played like one match also.
 
Just watched it back and it looked like a no ball for the Saud wicket, what are these umpires looking at?
 
Logged in to just say that zahid mahmood is the most impactless cricketer ever to play. The guy is null with the ball and same with the bat. Gutted to see that he could not do something to get sajid on strike
 
Why waste a spot with zahid they could have included an extra batter or pacer in place of him
 
Let's hope our duo can still find turn, I hope this isn't a sign that the pitch has flattened out completely
Need to get them out for a lead of <200

Everyone from thr Misbah Gang.

And Shan as well, People forget that Shan was Misbah's priests opener in test during his coaching stint.

Shan, Imam, Abdullah, Babar, Rizwan, chacha. All these lullei's must go including abrar.

Shaheen isn't from the Misbah gang though but he's been awful so idk about him

You are right brother, quite a few of our players gave away their wickets too easily.
 
Starting a new innings late in the day esp in heat gives bowlers a good chance of early wickets.

2 would be great.

Rizwan is already making captaincy demands like he is Adam Gilchrist and scoring runs like prime Jayasuriya, the audacity with this fella just never fails to surprise me

It’s a weird one, like has it flattened, or does it tend to have some juice in it after the roller has been used and then incrementally flattens out. It certainly doesn’t have as much potency as the Multan pitch and bowlers have to be a bit sharper.
 
Maybe trying to give some rest to Sajid and noman
Aamer Jamal might also bowl here
 
Seems very odd to be opening the bowling with Saim Ayub, surely getting an early wicket has to be the aim, not give away easy runs?

Rizwan threw his wicket away for sure and has been terrible in this series, not expected from someone who is an experienced cricketer now and have played enough test matches home and away. Abdullah Shafique also made a mistake by going on back foot when facing the new ball. Normally the trend is that the pitch goes from bad to worse if there is turn on day 1, but this one improved for some reason. Either way no excuse for throwing your wicket away. I made perfect predictions for every session of the 2nd test match and I am glad that I have been proven wrong for this one. Nothing better than winning a test series against a great team like England. InshaAllah we will win this match
 
I don't understand, if you have 8 overs left in the day wouldn't you want your best bowlers to bowl them?

Shan trying to be out of the box, just for the sake of being out of the box.

I was expecting this pitch to deteriorate and become harder to bat on

It looks like it’s improving to bat more and more

I recon it’s going go be landmines on day 4/5
 
Let's see if a meagre lead of 70 odd will be enough, hopefully Eng won't last behind 50 overs
