Dhoni knows the last thing they want here is for him to go for the big shots and taking the risk if getting out, he's not like Afridi, think iZee
 
Have to say, fantastic decision by Dravid to bowl first. Imagine if a Pakistani captain had done this! The knives would certainly be doing the rounds on PakPassion at the moment!

Knives would have been out all series: selection of Prior, England bowling at 10 overs an hour 1st test, no follow-on and Dravid's batting 3rd test, Vaughan and Dravid getting out sometimes cheaply or in crucial situation, list goes on
 
Required rate is 8.19 runs per over, getting out of the Indians reach now..

Dhoni and Dravid playing for the draw........they need to send a message out from the dressing room reminding them that this is actually an ODI.

Or maybe they are going for the bonus point? In which case someone should tell them there is no bonus point in this series.

From what I managed to see of the test series I thought India did very well indeed but one does wonder what's happening to Tendulkar and Dravid. If India want to get some more series wins under their belt then they really need those two to have one last flourish. Maybe Dravid will go on and score a ton here but niether he nor Tendulkar look comfortable at the crease at the moment.

Dhoni out pulling caught by Prior. I can't believe he plays the shot. He is so awful at it. He's been out already hitting the glove and he's done the exact same here. Flintoff gets a deserved wicket.

I'm not concerned buddy. I just find it funny how your appearances in some threads directly correlate to how India is doing! If you are brave in being a proud man when India is losing, then should you not then go into hiding when they do well?

As far as the longest standing members, well, no poster is more special then the other. Of course you can come and go as you please, and you are welcome to. I merely find it amusing, that's all.

Congratulations on the victory. But I think India will win the next game against 'your' team.

well your another one. You tend to disappear when India does well. India is still winning this series whether you like it or not. If they don't, I will STILL appear in the thread, unlike yourself and others.

great performance by England!!! Indian guys looked still in the test victory celebration hang over..

about English bowling, I think anytime in the recent past we haven't seen such a fast bowling attack anywhere in the world with three bowlers bowling at 90 mph!!

I must say that this Dinesh Karthik kid is really special. He has some technique. I watched him playing today and I was amazed. Has a lot in future for himself, especially opening in tests.
 
All england seamers were hitting their straps, didnt think England stood a chance against India tbh.
Freddie bowled beautifully, consistantly hitting 90+ :19:

Much easier on the eye than Dhoni.
 
Great win for ENG! I really hope Anderson and FLintoff continue to bowl well but i also want to see Yuvraj and Karthik do well too.
 
Why are India batting Karthik so low though? He has been there best batsman on this tour and yet he's stuck in at number 7 with no partners to help him. Chawla to me seemed pretty harmless. Suprised Harbhajan was not selected because England always have problems against him.
