7 more to go. Eng already has this game in bag now. It's extremely difficult to save the test for them from this position.

Dhawan is a walking wicket anyways now its when the real battle begins for the Englishmen/UN members. #BleedBlue #KohliRahaneSharma

Giving wickets to Part time spinners and if nothing works, just run themselves out.

How to give away advantage right back to the opposition is something to learn from Indians.

I think Dhawan played his last test.

He will be replaced by Gambhir for sure. He is no better than Dhawan with his poking at deliveries, but at least we know that Gambhir is a battler. If he gets lucky initially, he will score a 50 at least.

I can see a lot of changes coming in Indian side for next Test.

Out - Dhawan/Rohit/Pankaj/Shami

In - Gambhir/Ashwin/Ishant/ (Aaron or Pandey)

Seems that moeen ali have learned alot from Saeed ajmal he is bowling really well

He is bowling gentle straight pies.

Indian batsmen are playing for turn which is not there.

Kohli's wicket was unforgivable. It was a gentle straight pie.

This is such a familiar site.To Pakistan fan remember Dubai 2014 :tahir.I can totally understand what Indians are going through right now.

Pujara is a poor man's Dravid. He has been sucking so bad in the past 5 or 6 Tests.

The last time he played well was in SA. Still living off of his old reputation.

This is what happens when you play for a draw, when your strength is attacking. If he had batted with intent this would never happen, and even Ganguly is recognizing it on the comms.

At least Tahir was bowling Googly's and actually spinning the ball then.

Moen Ali and Root are bowling gentle pies. Not comparable.

Tahir is much much better than Ali and Root.

Pujara as a potential is better than Dravid.

Never judge a batsmen by immediate circumstances.

He has an issue, he will work on it and sort it out.

If he doesn't then we will attack him.

Pujara's 20's and 30's and even 50's are of great value to the team the way he takes the shine off the ball and plays off the tough spells.

He is still the best bat in your lineup and the rest are not even close.

I think Indias batsman have showed too much arrogance in playing Moeen. Yeah he isnt a top class spinner but he isnt completely hopeless that you dont respect him even on a pitch that is assisting spin.

I think Kohli was batting with intent the time I saw. Haven't been watching the match the last 30 mins.

You can always send Pujara and Kohli to Pak :D

No Thanks!!

They have lots of potential in Test cricket. But the comparisons of Pujara and Kohli to Dravid and Tendu is ludicrous at this point in their career.

This is like saying Junaid Khan is the next Wasim.

There were a lot of hittable over pitched deliveries. Kohli was playing very defensively against Ali and Root. Unless it was an absolute half tracker, he did not go for his shots.

Touché

Dravid and SRT are once in a lifetime kind of players.

Pujara and Kohli have potential but they need to score a lot and everywhere to be compared to legends

He stopped when Dhawan got out. No coincidence they were doing fine then.

It's not pitch or a lack of ability, England were batting as though 400 was pretty easy just 2 hours ago. Just that when you bat negatively, you can't score runs.

Oh ok. Just saw Mithun's comment.

You are absolutely right.

We are not Saffas who have the ability to block, block and block.

Rohit most likely to save India here.

He is the best player talent-wise but bad at making decisions, but since there doesn't to be any confusion about how he should bat he might do better.

Rohit looks so good when he is playing.I don't understand why he has to do something stupid every now and then.

Yupp

Terrible mind set. It looked as though Kohli was trying to prove that he can play tuk tuk.

The best thing India can do is to make England bowl at them for as long as possible. Do not give them much rest.

Barbie looks like he is ready to break down at any time now.

You can make the same case for Umar Akmal and Shehzad too.

They all have talent. But the maturity needed to succeed in long term is absent in them.

I am not going to comment on Akmal and Shehzad, but this could be the last chance for Rohit. If he does not score big this innings, he will be kicked out of the Test team. He can stick to T20's and ODI's.

Its like 100 or bust for Rohit.

I have more faith in Pankaj Singh defending for 90 overs than Rohit.

you are a good analyst....yeah even i believe in Rohit....unleash the TALENT:mj:

They just showed the first innings dismissals of Rohit and Rehane.

What the hell were they both thinking?? Horrible ways to get out and that too right after one another.

After reading some posts in this thread, I must say, Indians must try reverse-jinx now, especially Straight_Drive :moyo

When was the last time Indians held on to an away draw on 5th day with only 6 wickets in hands?

That's and then Indians lost the plot. First inning bog total would have killed this test.

Lets try it.

Rohit Sharma is so horrible, he make Imran Farhat look like Bradman.

Oh and he is far worse than Umar Akmal too.

Time for Ballance to take some wickets.

May be cook should also bowl some spin.

We have mastered the art of giving wickets to part timers.

So England need 6 wickets tomorrow and India need Rohit, Rahane, Dhoni, Jadaja, Kumar, Shami and Singh to bat 90 overs.

India have no chance.

Rohit's very good at batting when it's very clear what he should do. When he has no choice but to hit every ball, he's top 2 or 3 in the world. Given his talent level, I think it might be the same when he has no choice but to defend every ball. Problem is when he need to make a balance between the two.

That's actually true. In brainfades, UA has actually improved somewhat. No.hit is the same useless self.

That was England's best day since they were in India. Everything went right for them. Finished India off quickly, batted fast, declared at the right time, and then took the top four off again.

In previous tests this summer they got into good positions and let the other side back in. Not today! That was the England of 2010/11 again. They kept the pressure right on from the first ball.

Runs from the skipper and everything falls into place.

Well done Chef, well done lads, have a good night's kip and more of the same tomorrow please. :)

Loos like it should be all square heading to manchester.

Jimmy's hearing could end up being the crucial moment of the series.

if he is banned for a few tests i assume he can appeal but not sure of he can play the next test while the appeal is pending.
