England v Pakistan | 3rd Test | Birmingham | Aug 3-7, 2016 | Day 2

Botham just discuss England? when he is doing commentary it looks like only England is playing and the other team don't exist at all specially if the match is against Pak.

Bradford suffers from a lack of investment it's like many post-industrial northern towns that suffers from this malaise

Also got buried due to the queen of heels, thatcher

Part of the issue for these England bowlers is that they don't like being hit. They need to pitch it up like our guys. Sure there will be a few boundaries, but the batsmen will err.

Good that they aren't , our guys don't like to score boundaries so advantage is ours

Are you guys really Test cricket fans?

No just very young as the name contains 2102 which I can only assume is their DOB...We bowled England out on the first day which means we have plenty of time. Plus England were playing shots which is why they kept getting out. Us on the other hand are preserving wickets and scoring steadily...

Azhar dropped... Tough chance as it was hit hard but he got both hands to it. Stopped 4

Desi's have been living there for decades it's unfair to label them as the savages because when the economy suffers in the reigion the quality of the population also declines given the lack of opportunity, it thrived during the industrial revolution but the Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher destroyed Britains manufacturing industry and her policies lead to mass unemployment as Adil_94 and Markhor will tell you

Well Azhar that would be 2/9 lives...

England has been terrible in the field today.

It would be nice for woakes to go through what yasir did at OT

About time some luck went Azhar's way. Its his day to get a big ton insha'Allah!

Yea there is enough time left and the impact of this innings can be deadly on english players there is another match left we need to get into their heads and let them field for long.

Wow imagine if I had placed a bet this morning on Sami getting a 50, I'd have paid of my student debt by the evening Adil_94

Looks like the luck queen is on opposite side today Moeen :P

It's a flat pitch so this is expected, need to keep going though, try and bat england out of this game so we can win by an innings

Azhar was unlucky in the first two Test matches so I don't know why some people have a problem if the luck is favoring him today - should learn to Deal with it

May be, too early to say; but regardless of the result of this Test, PAK should play Wahab or ZBabar, at Oval depending on wicket. Wahab definitely & may be Babar as well can match the few scratches that MoHa is going to hurt the score book.

Some are upset that he is scoring runs unfortunately, at the end of the day it's Pakistan who are benefiting and we should support the team

As I said before. Ulterior motives. Difficult for them to swallow that he is our best Test batsman

I don't know why people complain about luck all the time when it's a major factor in the result of a match. Even the whole match start from luck (Toss). Than there are conditions for team batting/field after winning/losing a toss it's again luck, if your main bowler/batsmen get injured during the match it's again luck, and the list of luck factor continues so lets just stop this crying over luck factor.

I agree

Azhar has batted really well today but obviously quite hard for some people to give him the appreciation that he deserves :)

I have always backed Azhar Ali and I'm happy to see him scoring runs here

100 each for these 2 would be amazin

Misbah and Sarfraz can come and have a blast too

If both of them (a young gung playing first match and an out of form guy) can score centuries today this will be amazing and boost the confidence our other batsmen in lineup.

It's a pity that when the commentators will look for insights on this performance from Pakistan, they will have to be content with Rameez Raja's generics

82 runs in the session with no wickets lost.

Pakistan's session and day so far..

"yes its been a great day and I particularly like this new left handed opener, what a revelation and from nowhere"

Interestingly enough the highest was also here in Edgbaston. It was 291 between Zaheer Abbas and Mushtaq Mohammad back in '71.

35 overs left in the day with 25 until the new ball. It will be crucial one of them is still around for the new ball especially with Younis next.
