Now it is hitting in every department not just batting, you need stronger bowlers too, 130-135K trundlers are not going to cut it either...England realize it after Epic phanti in Ashes followed by WC2015 disaster... But they had strong athletes available in their culture and society, where we are going to find those?? - We have to manufacture them as well, things are lot worse than people imagine

It has absolutely nothing to do with power hitting and strength. A lot of people confuse power hitting for dynamic batting. Kohli, Root, Smith and a lot of players are dynamic batsmen. They are not built like Gayle. All you need is good timing ability and skill in ball placement.

Dynamic batting doesn't mean you hit every second ball for a six. A batsman can score at 6-8 rpo easily without taking risks if he has good skills. Every top batsman will look to hit the first ball of an over for a boundary (doesn't have to be aerial shot) and take a single off the next ball, that requires match awareness and batting intelligence and not Gayle or Russell like physique.

An over of 41.2.1, you get easily 8 runs without risks. But unfortunately Pak batsmen don't look to play proactive cricket in ODIs. A top ODI batsman will not look to belt every second ball over the roof of the stadium but will search for which gap he can dab the ball into and rotate the strike constantly, converting dots into singles and singles into doubles. Mike Hussey was called Mr.Cricket for a reason, he never ever played dot balls. Always rotated the strike and was a quick runner between the wickets, even at an age of 38.
