Pakistan reach 73/3 at stumps in the 1st innings of the 3rd Test against England

Let's hope Ayub doesn't do his usual throw away at end of a session
 
time for saim to prove he belongs at this level.. he has had far too many chances so far without any real and meaningful innings

Rauf was a standard lbw decision. This was a decision for caught and so when they checked for lbw they assumed lbw was not out. Look at the replay, on the lbw the original decision was listed as not out. It would need three reds to overturn
 
Why Pakistanis feel they can only attack spin by dancing down the track?

It's important to get some partnerhsip going here and get a lead in the first inning.

Babar definitely had this habit some years ago when he was trying to find his feet in test cricket. But I don't think its a pattern in his batting anymore. He has just generally been badly out of form recently
 
Pakistan probably has the most walking wickets amongst all the teams playing any kind of cricket right now.

I'm not willing to give up on him just yet.But sooner or later I think one of these two will have to make way for Hurraira. It's unfair to him to be kept out when neither of the openers are exactly lighting the world on fire

The first time was way back in 1882, when Australia's Joey Palmer and Edwin Evans bowled 115 four-ball overs against England at the SCG
 
That 110 run partnership is what it is going to come down to in the end.

From where Pak had Eng at one stage, 263 is a good score in that context.
 
This is what captains should do not just go on auto pilot, if you know a player is good with spin try the pace option. Pakistan in big trouble now, England have the runs on board.
 
I dunno I thought that was a pretty good ball. You can't exactly prepare yourself for the ball to stay that low

This is why I said earlier, had Pak got Eng out earlier in the day, Pak would have rolled over tonight itself too and Eng would have started their 2nd inns itself today.
 
I think the selectors also should make on field decision this shaani has been a let down
 
Pathetic effort with bat, this is why I said don't get carried away with England struggling,
 
Can't blame Pak for not playing a pacer.

No one in our setup who can match pace and accuracy of Atkinson
