Why am I even following this dafa karo baqwas team.
 
Lifeless wicket and no intend to play any shot... We are leaving and blocking like test cricket... There is too much pre-meditation in the our batting. Pakistan is certified minnow, no way they can compete with top teams :po:
 
don't worry. we'll see off the new ball and then start going for 3-4 an over. Sami/Azhar will score centuries off 150 balls each.
 
and then stupid people say that sharjeel does not have a brain.... what do you want him to do if his partner cannot score ????

Pakistan batting is Sharjeel. He is gone so its just your average ODI batters to eat up the overs.

I wanted who ever is batting first to score 350+. Pak are on pace to score 200.
 
Wow, Sami needs to rotate the strike or stick with tests. This is embarrassing with two back to back maidens.

Azhar get a boundary but expect him to block 10 more times before he scores again

Aslam not scoring much might have added extra pressure on Sharjeel.
 
Pakistan's batting is as exciting as paint drying...actually drying paint is probably more exciting.
 
lol bumble saying good over for england . Azhar probably thinks 5 runs from that over is something extraordinarily brilliant

In all the matched England's run rate has never dropped below 5. That's how you get big scores.
 
Azhar is one of the most selfish player along with Misbah I have ever seen.Only good to create pressure
 
I feel like Sami Aslam plays for his spot!
I had an inkling when he came out blocking chasing 40 at the oval .. he just didn't wanna get out and let azhar do the scoring
But after having seen him in ODIs.. it can only be 2 things:
1.) He plays for his spot in the team
2.) He doesn't have the ability to play in limited overs Cricket
 
strike rate under 50 for from both batsmen, absolutely unforgivable

With this two guys we would end up ranking 19th if they continue to play for one year or so..
 
Sami Aslam should stick to test cricket. Can't believe how people hyped him up as the next coming of Saeed Anwar on this forum.

I remember Pak batsmen of 90's who would take singles of almost everyball against India and frustrate us fans.

The current day Pak batsmen just do not like to run. No urgency shown while taking singles either.
 
And now he is slogging .. you just can't play one day Cricket like this ... you don't freaking slog
 
Sami Aslam having to play such expansive shots just to rotate strike.
 
Even if they score hundred at this rate what's the use..
Salute to those newtons who selected azhar to lead an odi team..
 
In the current lineup Sarfraz Nawaz n babar are the only 3 who can rotate strike they should be playing overs 11-42 as simple #thought4mgmt.
 
Honestly Shehzad gets a lot of crap for playing slow but I feel even he plays better than Aslam and Azhar, more recently he was trying to rotate strike as well.

or simply open with sharjeel and umar, babar at 3 and harris at 4 with sarfi at 5
 
On track to be the lowest ten over score for Pakistan this series
 
I don't want to see either Aslam or Azhar in the ODI team ever again. I have seen enough from both to know them are of no use.
