Botham is an idiot. Focusing on that one moment. He'll go on about that for days now.
 
hafeez has actually improved from the last time i saw him play vs india,
he looks quite good for opening and malik could go to middle order in place of iqbal,
 
Hafeez likes to get on the front foot, so England will look to bang a few in
 
well i take back my previous post,
we need at least 1 fast bowling all rounder and that is razzaq,
his bowling is still good enough for test matches and we cant keep on using 4 bowlers like yesterday with part time off-spin from malik or hafeez
 
these 2 are our last hope,

i dont expect much resistence after inzi comes,

iqbal will just scratch around and akmal is out of form,

lets hope yousof gets a big 200
 
i dont know why but i aint that happy,

maybe its hat theres no point as we have lost the series already

94 runs from 22 overs @ 4.27 with loss of 1 wicket makes it a good seesion for Pak. Altough Farhat missed out on a ton he made a very good contribution and Importantly MoYo is still there. Good to see Hafeez come out to bat.
 
Pakistan on top at lunch and in control. We need to make a big lead say around 250 + and possibly more because there is rain forecasted every day so we have to try and bat only once. Inshallah Pakistan will win this one. Everyone played well so far and Younis was unlucky yesterday.
 
Strauss had said that th stest was crucial for Englands Ashes campaign. Time and England dissapoint, but still hopes are there that Ashes might be a good contest
 
I want to say I am more impressed by Hafeez than Farhat. Thats how you shape a test knock
 
Is it just me, or are these two playing a bit two slow compared to the time they have spent on the cerase?

Harmison hasn't even gone up to 90 mPh yet.
 
Botham says England looking tired and they shouldn't be.

Hair not giving out plumb decions like that make it even worse - he knows that he has contributed to the Enfg series win - so know he can show Pak some mercy!

I'd rather he continue his usual self...

Who thinks Hafeez,s first ball six against Monty Panesar will effect his performance?

What a hit that was,Imran didn,t get to the pitch of the ball but still he hit the ball a long way.Amazing shot that was.I think that is the right way to deal a spinner ,when he is real giving you trouble.

That 6 looks better each time they show it - no brutality - just caressed it over the rope. Timing and positioning.

58.6 Panesar to Mohammad Hafeez, SIX, a quite magnificent shot; down the pitch and he simply strokes it over long-off for six to bring up a super fifty. That was some shot

hafeez looks absolutely different class to out of form taufeeq and butt!!! and despite farhats profilic 90 hafeez looks so much more solid...

so for all those pessimitic fans out there...the doom mongerers who called for bob and inzy's resignation and were typin posts after posts calling for a change...look at what going on at the oval and look and go back to my sepate post about being 'optimistic'...
 
Where are the people now who were calling for Inzi's head? They seem to disappear when Pak are doing well.
