What's new

England v Pakistan | 4th Test | The Oval | Aug 11-15, 2016 | Day 2

The question is... Will Azhar permenantly open and does Asad have a good enough technique against new ball for a #3. I don't like these makeshift decisions.

:))) :)))) :))) What language is that? Funny lol.

Deep Karachi Slang !! Tbh Syed1 and Sarfarazian92 are the only two blokes here that I've seen (in recent times i.e.) correspond to such linguistic competence.

how is team man and his ballet dancing going? is he providing lessons to the english out there or has he controlled himself??

we used to speak like that in the street during our matches in gulshan iqbal back in the day...lol

Shehzad should return as second opener only if Azhar moves back to #3. If Azhar is new opener, then Shehzad can be in squad as third opener.

The best teams are from Nazimabad though, they are THE GOATS when it comes to street cricket in Karachi. A 3rd XI for a Nazimabad team would hammer almost all teams from Defence, Clifton, KDA etc etc. The only teams that can compete with them are either from Malir or Saddar (Lines Area) Where Shazaib Hasan was from originally

Too many football fans in Defence, Clifton

Actually, we should clone Shehzad. That way, we can have Shehzads 1-11. Wouldn't that be just perfect?

Asad must play for a big one here, may be for a double. For such big innings, one needs some luck & he got his share today.

This is a type of innings one should expect from No. 3. He didn't kill the momentum. Normally, same situation, azhar used to take 50 balls to reach double digit.

Itnay Burger hotay hain yar yeah Larkay....Once a team from Defence came to play against us (near SMCHS - Eat On Wali Side per) They brought water coolers and snacks with them as well :))

hahaha, I can totally relate as I'm from clifton as well. My friend asked me an hour ago, "test match kaise dekh lete ho yaar" smh

LOL. I am not a Shehzadian but, the guy has more potential than Khurram and Hafeez and he hasn't done too poorly so far in tests.

Which is why Hafeez should be dropped and Khurram shouldn't play tests. We invested a lot in Shehzad but he failed us. No need to go back to him.

Is this the guy who hammered domestic bowlers but failed on the international circuit?

Yeah he only played 6 Tests. Had a FC avg of 50 and 53 hundreds. Was a good strokeplayer and think he was a selector at one point IIRC.

Don't know lol, have heard it from some people and sounds better :p

shafiq papa was a die heart fan of cricket he used to organise many cricket tournaments. he was well respected in Pakistani International, and domestic cricketers .

Bad luck for MoHa - I do believe that he would have enjoyed Oval.

But, that's what happens when finally you meet your nemesis. With his technique, foot work (or lack of it) & temperment; ideally he should have accepted No. 6 spot; which perfectly suited his role of batting all-rounder as well. But, he managed to keep opening & his team supported him as well, until it became too late. At this age, it's difficult for him to make a come back, after such disastrous series & with his bowling ban.
