It doesn't make sense, if England lose their review now, it'll be normality resumed.

I still don't like the 'corridor of uncertainty' aspect in the reviews, it is like trusting in Hawkeye but not trusting it enough. Ridiculous.
 
What is the point of UDRS if you can still get a shocker like that Eoin shout? The limitation on reviewing these decisions is a sorry gesture to implementing this technology in cricket.

I missed the Morgan UDRS thing - could you (or someone else) do a quick recap?

Its our fault on wasting our reviews on marginal calls. The wicket-keeper did a lousy job.

And not picking up the obvious ones, one in the morning, and this one now (though for this one of course we didn't have any left).

The system itself is fine. But needs a brain to use it. That requirement rules out most Akmals.

Not given.

We had used up our reviews thanks to our USELESS wicket-keeper so couldn't get it reviewed.

Was plumb.

The level of umpiring has come down.Morgan should have been given out. The review system was introduced to avoid shockers. Here the batsmen just escaped because of no more reviews.

It should reduce shockers, but it only offers the umpires a cushion to give decisions against the side with no referrals.
 
His keeping is simply NOT test standard...argh this is so infuriating to watch!
 
Did I just see that?? Did Kami just do that? Please tell me he didn't. Did he .. did he just ... I mean .. was that a chance?

Almost as simple as the sitter he dropped before lunch.

Or the simple review he messed up.

Or the catch he couldn't take because he was too scared to stand where he should have been standing.
 
Have to bring in Zulqarnain/Sarfraz,just play Kamran as a batsman at No.6 instead of Malik.Kami isnt fit to wipe Gilchrist's backside.

Kamran has single handedly cost us the match.
Straus at 15, new ball bowlers fresh, an early wicket and now this stumping.

Yet the selectors and fans alike will forget all this with a quick fire 30-50 runs. If you actually add what he costs you in the field, he will mostly come out minus in most cases.

But the Akmal mafia continues to flourish, to top it off he is the VC.

How many times does he have to cost us the match for it to be deemed enough? I know this can be classified as a bit premature as its only the first day but I'm sure lots will agree. The chances of him winning us a match with the bat is far far less than him costing us the match with his sloppiness. Someone needs to do the maths and do something about it.

That miss probably takes away Pakistan's chances of restricting England to 320 or so instead of 400-450. That might well have cost Pakistan the match.
 
he drops catches, misses stumps, he stands too deep, not athletic enough, got belly ..ahhhh he is getting unbearable now... N now england r getting away with runs, n our batting is similar to kamran's keeping, bit all over the place, every run is important..

Ashoka being shown up by UDRS, the only positive from the UDRS is the scrutinous inquiry of the umpires ability.
