That back foot punch Azhar has played thrice throughout his innings is gold.

The first (?) one he played off Finn was easily the shot of the day.
 
azhar needs to retain most of hte strike till the ball gets old.. this is a new ball and amir can be a walking wicket..

I would really like Azhar to start playing a few shots now, and rotate the strike. he's been on the crease long enough.

Same for Amer, needs to score runs, not just block balls

Doesn't mean that he goes crazy and throws his wicket away

Lead of about 100 will do, I don't doubt we'll get there either with iDone to come :ajmal
 
Judging by today's innings, I can comfortably say Aamer is better than Akmal!
 
Come on yaar. Play for the country and the poor folk affected by the floods. Just play your natural game. Each run is like gold now.
 
Another 60 runs and this game is firmly in the bag. Overcast conditions for the next three days.
 
I wonder where Zedman is? His predictions are falling flat right on his face and now he is nowhere to be found. Typical of him not to cheer for your team when they are doing well.
 
The question is will they finally get 300 today.
After seeing Kamran Akmal throw his wicket away one more time, Haider must be the first choice keeper now. Krapmal is past it now. Haider should slot straight in once he recovers from his injury

Wahab Riaz scoring more than Butt, Farhat and Akmal. That too, at the top end.

well i think u didnt watch the match two Akmal's batted today and Umar Akmal did very well so i guess its Kamran;-)

Zedman is in hiding, i'm still waiting for him to comment on my response to his predictions in the other thread 'Predict your scores at end of day 2'.

All his predictions have fallen flat and he's nowhere to be seen...

both. chota akmal had a golden chance to show his tullaybazi on this flat track and he did show how he plays like another imran nazir or afridi. what was he thinking when slashing and taking risky runs?. its test match and one need to stay at the wicket, runs will come later. but both kakmals only want to reserve their seats in team thats why they tend to score quick 30s just to show they thay can make runs.
and I am glad that sr kakmal got out , can't say how glad i am.
 
The ball is hardly 10 overs old, and they have started complaining.

nope it is only strange when Pak bowls and the commentatiors point out then since Eng is bowling everything is a plan
 
i hope azhar makes a big score along with tail ender because this pitch looks like a batsmen heaven now. lets see how much lead pakistan will have.

Krapmal should take a leaf out of Haider's book who showed mental strength under pressure. This is a test match not a 20/20 game.There are 3 days left. Why the hell did he hit the ball in the air
 
Azhar needs to get a move on here with just Ajmal and Asif left.
 
Azhar Ali should start playing more attacking now, not allways the tail-enders can support you. We need at least 70 runs lead.
 
I hate giving Broad wickets, he's such a crap bowler.
 
This is a joke. Another 1 down. Pak once again squander there chance. Cant believe they wont get 300 on this batting surface. The Krapmals should be shot

This proves the point that he only comes out when Pakistan does bad. I think he very much enjoys seeing Pakistan lose. Well at we know now he doesn't have any credibility in his words as he was just taking wild guesses based on previous perfomances. Also he has a personal agenda with UA. Let's see what he has to say.
 
Amir out, Azhar should step it up now, start scoring some runs.

Can't expect Saeed Amjad to score every time.
 
Almost another run out. Only a measly 36 run lead which is nothing. England are favourites now as pak have to bat last on a turning pitch
 
Ajmal goes for a duck. When u need the tail to wag they never do. Today was vital for the tail to wag. Ridicolus stuff
 
Typical of Pakistan. When someone at the top performs, the tail falls like dead flies. When top fails completely, then the tail wags.
