2.3
Anderson to Watson, :four , more runs for Watson as Anderson strays too far down leg, it's clipped away through square leg with ease

2.2
Anderson to Watson, :four , well timed from Watson, the ball swings in towards his pads looking for the lbw, but Watson is good enough to just flick this through midwicket, times it well enough for it to run away to the boundary

Australia needs Watson to go the Sehwag way (when he was good, that is). A quick fire 70-80 runs would do very nicely and give the rest of the batsmen some confidence. I am not sure hanging around is the kind of game he is comfortable with anyway.

Watson may as well go t20 mode, he wont stick around long playing like this..

Watson is too casual in his approach so far. It's alright but one needs special talent to back up such free flowing approach.

Watson's definitely the one we need... Especially on a hot day because he ain't gonna want to be running

Surely, there has to be a correlation between Watsons century drought and run outs? :13:

60 runs a session and we win.

Slow and steady lads.

What are australias chances? Can they pull off the impossible? What is the highest succesful chase at trent bridge? Swann will be too much for the fragile batting line up if they survive the seamers?

England 215 & 375
Australia 280 & 20/0 (6.0 ov)
Australia require another 291 runs with 10 wickets remaining

In seriatum:

284

Everytime Watto hits a boundary, I get the ominous feeling about the next ball he faces.

Lunch - Day 4

AUS went to lunch without losing a wicket. The ECB are going to ask the ICC for clarification on that matter.

Watson should leave everything outside off! Tooo aggresive

So, lunch, and the equation is 283 to win with ten wickets standing in 5 sessions. It's feeling a bit Edgbaston 2005 all of a sudden

broad has a reputation for being among the most petulant cricketers in the game. no goodwill there! : Harsha Bhogle

Swann bowling the 1st over after lunch . can he deliver is the question ?
