Reports say KP is fit & Aus will have 3 changes : Warner , Starc & Lyon might replace Hughes,Pattinson & Agar .

Read on tms , till now 28 Ashes tests at this venue . Eng & Aus have both won 7 each & 14 were drawn .

It's muggy, Win toss & bowl first. Watch the Australians brick their pants at the sight of a swinging ball.

Match commences in half an hour. England are expected to name an unchanged side, while Warner and Lyon are likely to be back for Australia.

Mala , does look like who ever wins the toss will bowl .
cricinfo says : The suggestion is that England will be unchanged. We'll know for certain in 20 minutes. The experts at the ground say there should be some pace in the pitch.

Australia have won the toss and will bat. Michael Clarke confirms the return of Warner, Lyon and Starc.

England captain Alastair Cook: "We'd have had a bat as well. It's muggy so hopefully the ball will swing this morning and put some pressure on the top order. [On the squad] We had all the bases covered. It's a long series, it's important we set the tone in this first hour and hopefully Jimmy and Broady can do that for us."

Hopefully these 2 can put up a solid platform. Want to see a good game like the first one. Rogers due some luck nothing much has gone right for the poor fella thus far and hopefully no more leg before watsons.

Starc again? Not sure about that. Bird should have got this game surely. Also Agar has looked far more solid with the bat than Khawaja. Looks very solid against spin especially. Would have played Warner at 3 and Agar as a middle order bat.

Matty Lyons: "I predict Watson and Rogers will bat all day, just like Marsh/Taylor at Nottingham in the 1989 Ashes Series. End of Day 1: Australia 0/356"

That awkward moment when Rogers is playing with a Strike Rate of 100 in a Test match while his overall SR is 41

If Anderson fails to deliver , Aussies should get a fighting total here, something that would Test Poms on last Day here.

Rogers is going to get a ton here.

Counties showing Aussies how to beat us again.....

* Chris Rogers now got 20,000 First Class runs.

I've been saying for a while that Rogers is the best batsman in Australia. He looked nervous in the first two games, obviously came out this morning and thought 'sod it'.

Feel sorry for Khawaja

Not sure why that was out

What was that ridiculous datz insane

How all you DRS fanboys going? Great system eh? Reduces howlers eh?

Just makes more errors. That is an utter joke. Not that Usman was going to make a triple hundred but fair go...

Terrible decision. Whats the point of using technology if the people using it are idiots

O god datz a real shocker and poor usmans career is on line disgraceful pathetic

Shane Warne's anger can be clearly understood. This decision is very very bad! Feel sorry for Khawaja

Hotspot had nothing and there was daylight between bat and ball.

Idiot umpire, nothing wrong with DRS

Without DRS he would have been out wrongly anyway. This is a terrible decision. The DRS gives too much weight to the on-field decision. Daft umpiring.

It wasn't DRS, it was the third umpire once again not having a clue.

The technology showed no edge. don't know how you can blame DRS here.

Well if DRS wasn't there he would have been out anyway.

Don't blame the technology - blame the umpire who obviously saw something that we didn't see.
