Eng runningg awayy with the game here,,, Come on we need a wicket.................
Sourav Ganguly, who went out in Nottingham yesterday, reports a few English players were in sports cars that went at more than 120mph. "In the city," he emphasises
Runs are coming quick and fast. Bell looks impressive again.
James: "What's more is that some of most exciting cricketers on the fielders make for some of the dullest commentators. Just look at Adam Gilchrist..." Wasim Akram anybody?
greigtalks
Hotspot inventor is testing Vaseline. He says bigger prob is stickers on edges – keep an eye out for which batsmen use stickers on edges
I think Wasim is okay..sometimes gives good views from bowling point of view. But I thought Sourav was bad in the WC...but he seemed to improve a lot from just doing cricket analysis to adding some sense of homour and excitement.
Are u saying match will be a draw?
Bell has looked the best batsmen in the match so far. Most fluent strokes he has played...
Is Trott going to bat this game?
Dhoni stand up for PK! So much fir Indian phashit bowlers!)
Lunch....India should have got a wicket
Lead is 63.
There is no chance of a draw here. Result only. At current stage, England 65%; Ind 35%
India in all kinds of trouble here.
This pitch is getting flatter and flatter.. If Sachin, Dravid and Laxman gets in batting 5 session is not impossible..
63-2 with Trott no where likely to score anything significant.
Easier pitch. Chasing 300 won't be as hard.
Think India still well in it.
149 is the average 4th innings score here.
England are doing very well. 250+ will be very difficult for India to chase. India need wickets and need them fast.
Botham, Bumble and Gower agree that Indian is ahead at the moment.....and next session will determine who is going to commanding lead.
Vikram is wearing a pink tie![]()
He can pull it of
Now if Broad or Ishant were wearing pink.......
Since 2000, the highest score chased at Trent Bridge is 284 which England got beating New Zealand by 4 wickets (an attack led by Chris Cains and James Franklin) in 2004
So what do you think is the safe lead for England on this pitch which has gotten considerably easy now?
In my opinion...it has to be no less than 325.
It looks easy because England are batting well. A couple of quick wickets and it wont look so easy any more. Day 3 is also always the easiest to bat. It's not going to keep getting easier from now on.
People shouldn't underestimate the value of history and if historically teams have struggled batting 4th at Trent Bridge, the chances are that trend will continue.
Fine... but what do you think is the safe score for England? Come on.... be brave..... worse case...you'll be way off!![]()
