In BGT i felt like a lonely fighter dealing with gangs upon gangs excluding 2-3 that were present.

For england series, I feel like a side character with my main boys smacking and stealing the show.

Injuries have taken its toll.
He no longer will be what he was.

Good luck in LoI and good bye.

Helped us win many test series away from home but his back is gone. He can’t last more than 2 tests. That’s not good enough. Compromising the team particularly when they need you most.

No one gives a crap about availability. If you are not fit then don’t play. I blame selectors too.

India should have been 2-1 up if not for dropped catches and a terrible run out. But it is what it is.

India should never play 5 test series. Players don’t seem to care for 5 tests.

Even earlier... England brought their spinner before 30 overs (that too only Day-1 Overcast conditions) and got their first wicket (and their spinner has not even played 5 tests). Here Sundar is definitely our main spinner, he is certainly not a better batsman than Jadeja... If he is just a filling player, then India are playing Test Cricket in a wrong way (worse than Bazball)... You cannot play test cricket with bits and piece players... Use them as proper alrounders and give them responsibility... Stokes comes and bowls responsible spells as 4th seamer... In India he should bat like Jadeja and try with ball like Jadeja, otherwise I will criticize him too...

Worst coaching and worst captaincy this...
 
The truth is Root is juat as good if not better then Sachin. He has passed sachin every conditon except Australia which is the only thing that puts Aus ahead.

Dont worry though, he will perform in Aus. I love Australia but I back england to win ashes this time around.

Once that is done, england will bust another propaganda.

lol don't blame India for everything. Now that he has his sights on Sachin's record, this might be a valid argument. But for most of his career, he has been rated pretty much what he deserved. Credit to him for not letting losing captaincy, Stokes hype, Bazball hype detract him from his focus on piling on the runs so that he could not be ignored anymore.
 
One thing is for sure if by chance khuda na khaasta india win this test. Bumrah will not play and for that he was already trying too hard to show his injury infront of the camera so that if tomorrow it's a series decider match he can skip it and no one will point any finger at him because he is injured so cannot say anything to him.

Brother, I respect you, but we both know that is cap. He is not fairly rated.

The 1st argument that indians on social media portray is that he is a softie and only scores easy runs on flat tracks. Hilarious cause thats Shubman Gill 🤣🤣.

Root avg 50 in every country excluding Aus and Dustbowls? Where he still avg 35, 47 and 45 lol.

2nd argument is the avg bit it ignores that his avg has been 58 now for 6 years. It keeps rising and rising which is a rare sight to behold.

Lastly I still dont get how people rate many including Ponting > Him?

Their avg is now extremely similar? And root country record is better? He has more match wins then Ponting as well?

How is he worse then Ponting?

My list has now been upgraded to putting him one spot below dravid and Ponting due to his 100 upping his avg?

He jumped from no 19 to no 13 in my list now?

Very soon he'll reach 5-8?

He cannot touch Tendulkar's legacy in ODIs... Tendulkar is more popular in ODIs... So Tendulkar's legacy will remain as long as ODI format is alive and will end up being ODI Batting Legend after the demise of ODI format... Even Test Format is going to die if England lose interest and their Ashes engagement (India may eventually lose interest in this format and play lesser tests - like back to 3 tests, if they don't remain competitive...)

Just like nobody can touch Bradman in Tests, same thing goes with Sachin in ODIs, it is like Mount Everest...

Even in tests I hope Joe Root doesn't fall off in the race like England tried with Alastair Cook... Hopefully he can maintain his form for another 2 years... There is always a danger of bad form or injury... That's why I always felt Bazball was a part of England's plan in helping out Joe Root...

Lol, Kohli is miles > Sachin. That myth has been busted.

Kphli has shattered every single record excluding no of runs which is matches dependant and playing 464 odi is impossible in this era.

But no one cares, Kohli scored the most runs in a single edition of a cup, has performed in every cup excluding finals but he fixed that by winning CT. Sachin meanwhile was irrelevant in 2011 like Kohli who was a youngsters at the time was.

Yuvi and Dhoni won it. Excluding Pakistan where he was dropped 4x and stumping missed 2x, his 2 centuries led to one loss and one tie for india in group stages.

Sachin has been surpassed by Miles. Viv Richards is more of an untouchable god in odi then sachin is since his status like Bradman is being >>>>> everyone in every metric for his era.

The debate in odi is between Kohli and Viv, Sachin is a tier below.

This sachin nonsense needs to end. He was the pinnacle of test excluding Bradman but that myth is being torn apart by Steve Smith in terms of avg and country performance and Joe root in terms of runs
