Agreed, England should have curated this pitch for the series.

Honestly its been a dossapointing series excluding the 3rd test and this one.

1st test, 2nd test and 4th test was a joke of a pitch

Ya bro i was shocked to see the pitches for this series england always have great pitches they needed these type of green pitches which has plenty for fast bowlers nevertheless england still good enough to win the series.

They got away with it in the past due to Anderson and Broad.

Now they can't obviously. Tbh broad and Anderson would have failed as well if it wasnt for England's bazzball batting.

But those pitches should be banned plain and simple.

Long long day for India. Lol another Myth busted. Delusional indians were claiming that after the 4th test draw, England have been humiliated and now are mentally defeated :vk2 .

Yes they are mentally defeated by leading 2-1 and smacking the day lights out of india atm.

This is why even posters who come across as respectful in words like jnaveen and vikram are nothing more then rubbish fake news propaganda machines

True, but he is still avg 30 overall this series. He played a good innings in the (1st test 4th innings) and 4th test 3rd innings but this is his best innings so far(assuming he keeps going and doesnt get out)

I know Crawley is such an inconsistent batsmen, maybe one of the most inconsistent openers ever to have played almost 60 Test matches.

But wow, when he is on he is really on. He has the shot making and skill of someone who should at least average in the 40s. I suppose England is banking on him to perform really well in the Ashes as he did last time.

His purpose is to bazzball. They saw his potential in ashes.

He isnt meant to be a 40 avg batter. His goal is to put the heat on which he freqently does. Its thanks to players like him draws are hardly achieved while england is chasing totals or nullifying leads

He very pleasing on the eye. I enjoy watching tall batsman bat because when they are on they dominate bowlers. KP probz one of the best examples. But I don't expect Crawley to ever get consistent. He just doesn't show very good judgment and goes fishing for the ball far too often for a test opener who plays most of his matches in England. His best format is probably ODI but they don't select him for that.

Why cant farhan, Hasan nawaz, Kamran Ghulam and haris be perma features?

They lack fc experience but we need a desperate change as is.

Im sick of this philosophy that only slow as mollases players can play all formats. What a crapola philosophy 👏🏻

Completely agree! It’s interesting because so many of the great batsmen have been short (Sachin for example) but there is an elegance to the way tall players can open up and make space for their shots. So much leverage so quickly.

The thing with Harris is that if you give him the chance to play like this (Duckett or Konstas) in Test as an opener, he might forget his purpose because it is whites and a red ball. Then just end up like a deer before headlights in these sort of conditions

You can give him a free licence but even then he won’t know what the license allows him to do.

Rizwan should continue as our test keeper. He gets hate in t20. I dont see any issue in test though. He and agha are pretty aggressive for the lower order.

They play faster then imam, Abdullah, Babar and saud in test cricket.

Yes Rizwan has been good overseas and is good against fast bowling in Test cricket.

I wouldn’t mind introducing a wicket keeper who is very good at playing spin like Sarfraz was for pitches in Asia though. Mohammad Haris of course doesn’t really fit that bill either, but there has to be someone.

If they can another match winning 189 out of him in the Ashes it’ll all have been worth it.

In my opinion, Australia is still the clearly superior Test side so you might as well take big risks.
