What sarfraz has done which failed us:

1- Run saving schemes instead of attack.
2- ^ This Gives singles easily.
3- ^ This put no pressure, as bowlers cant have time to work on the bastman
 
Absolutely gutted.

We might go on to win the match, however the fact we couldn't hold on to the innings win is nothing short of a moral defeat.
 
I fear that with new ball, ball being hard & what not, it will be easy to score off.

No its not.

Out of the whole test match these are the best batting conditions we saw.

Ball isnt swinging, seaming, or reversing.

England finally put up some resistance in home conditions after being totally dominated for the first two days.

Nothing demoralizing about that, as long as we win this match.
 
How many times have they got that single on the leg side :facepalm:
 
What about a drink break, making a hurdle, and regrouping? Message from coach? Why no pause tactic to change the flow?

These have been used successfully by Aussies
 
I think Azhar in slips because he can't field lol. Otherwise with the mind set of sarfraz, there would be no slips.
 
Pakistan have blown their chance to win this test. Both these batsmen will get centuries now and get England a proper three digit lead.
 
50 more runs and we might actually be in a position to lose this
 
May be something happened at Tea? Some brawl with Mickey? Or Coach? To lead the management down?

Bro, it is a great win for the team no doubt.

Tjough on a personal level I am feeling a bit devastated. After the lead touched 180 and Cook got out cheaply I was sensing an innings win. When Amir took two quick wickets and then fall of 6th wicket shortly after I was over the moon. I was pumped up, ready to embrace a dominating win.

Now I am lying on my bed, felling devasted and have to question my psychic abilities.
 
Love how Sarfraz tries to get Faheem to go on the short ball barrage lool. He isn't quick enough and tall enough to bounce these guys.

Don't get ahead of yourself mate, there is still a long way to go for Pakistan to win this, this might not be as easy as most people think if England manages to score around 150, and with the way these two are going, looks like they're gonna pull it off.
 
Pitch looks more flat than UAE, thanks to our plans and poor bowling.

Safaraz should have tried Haris or even Azhar for a couple.

Anyway, Lords wicket is keeping up with its tradition of flattening out as the game progresses.
 
Also, poor decision by Pakistan to change the ball, as that was suicide. they reported the ball for shape. It was 60+ overs old, not 20 overs, and work had been done on it for reverse. Now this ball is just doing nothing.
 
I believe PAK still is in driving seat, though looking at field setting, doesn't seem PAK team itself is confident enough. Last 3/4 overs, I thought it's time for batsmen to panic for the end ...... ENG should lose one more before end.

I have never experienced such a dominant overseas performance by Pakistan. If we lose this, I will be traumatized. Serious.

I would stop following test cricket for a while. It is too intense.

Kind of predicated on the idea that England could make it last to day five though....
 
Pakistani fans are honestly the most impatient and disloyal viewers of cricket out there. Guys, relax. Take a breather! Have some patience. This is Test match cricket, it gives multiple opportunities for the team to come back. Our fitness levels are completely fine, Amir, Hasan and even Faheem are giving everything in their bowling. Amir is still bowling around the 90 MPH mark, that says a lot about his commitment and fitness levels.

It is high time we as fans understand that the opposition are not a bunch of mugs who have cheated their way through the system to make the national team. Every country as professional structure where only the best of best player make the cut. And when the likes of Shadab Khan - with all due respect - are making half centuries, we should understand that world class batsmen like Buttler will not go down without a fight. Buttler is not only a terrific batsman, but we should consider that he is playing this Test primarily as a specialist batsman and the vital reason for his positioning is the very scenario case in point; to avoid a collapse and to bat with the tail.

Just because we have done well thus far does not mean the English team is a bunch of nobodies.

When is new ball available? Also we are badly missing Y Shah lol.

No need for wrist slitting. Tomorrow morning England will fold quickly. It's just fitness isuue.. the bowlers will be fresh in the morning

I think, expectation was high for 111/6, otherwise net 52/6 after Day 3, would have been dream for everyone here. However, last session bowling & field setting wasn't up to the mark for sure.
