We are not considered a great batting lineup but even after that we have hit 340+ in 3 consecutive innings which ahows how bad the wickets are.

Such wickets favour teams with strong batting lineups which we are clearly not, a bit something in the wicket then we might have had a chance as our bowlers would have been in the game just like CT 17 where there wasnt much but enough to have a competition between bat and bowl.

Pitches have been poor, 2 world records of consecutive 340+ scores by both teams would give some idea. That being said our bowling execution have been poor as well but not as bad as the wickets, though team selection with no proper spinner against Eng was probably as bad a move as pitches in Eng.

I think it was more about his fielding and the misfields he caused, he’s been our best bowlers for the last 6 months or so consistently so obviously one or two bad performances aren’t going to make him bad. Just needs to work on his fielding!
