Agreed, except Hafeez is too good to bat so low. Bring him in at 5, Asif at 6. Sarfraz doesn't really fit in anywhere, so he can be used as a float. He bats if Pakistan are 4 down after 30 overs, otherwise send Asif.

Possibly. We'll see when the other teams bowl on these pitches. They are obviously belters, but I think Pakistan bowlers have really lacked any sort of discipline in the basics like line and length, and other teams will definitely field a lot better.

Ok I understand our team is mediocre and we are finished as a cricketing nation. But that’s how we’ve always been. But what I don’t understand is why you are still on this forum you clearly hate them and never support them whats the point of you saying all this negative stuff when this website is called pakpassion we all just love our team and want them to win though we know how bad they are that’s a given and many teams in many sports are like this doesn’t mean you stop supporting them this is why you’re just a plain troll and whatever you say has no significance

Why the hell is Fakhar Zaman bowling when Hafeez is inthe team ? I don't understand what goes in Sarfaraz's head . . It bothers me to no end
 
Pakistan wasted so much time trying to turn Yasir Shah into an LOI bowler. Had we invested in someone like Zafar Gohar or Mohammad Aghar to pair with Shadab, we wouldn't have had such a big gap in our bowling lineup.
 
Pak bowlers apart from Hasnain are fine bowlers. Just lacking concentration and confidence. Hasnain for me is a must drop, replacement with Shinwari, guy deserved a chance ahead of this raw and inexperienced bowler. Inzi need a kick in the back, Shinwari and Raees were better options than juni and hasnain.
 
Part time spinners going with better economy than main bowlers. Still amazes me how we couldnt select a specialist spinner for the series.
 
This seniority culture is so annoying to captain has to say Shoaib “bhai” every time otherwise he will get kicked out of the team can’t even scold him cause he’s a senior if he’s not bowling well lol

Exactly. After this WC, Pakistan management has to address our weaknesses and which players to replace. Then we need to stick with whatever team we pick. Experimenting this late and not knowing who your opening bowlers are is risky.
 
No need to have imad in this team.
Select 3 fast bowlers so they can bowl 10 overs each and Malik and Hafeez can bowl 5 each with shadab bowling his 10
30+5+5+10 = 50

I dont think team management will remain unless we win the WC and they deserve to be removed.
 
Robotic captaincy as usual. Why not rotate Fakhae, Malik, Hafeez and Babar every 2 overs

No doubt the bowling has been poor and have been a shadow of what they were in the CT. The bowler I’m worried about the most is Hasan Ali because I get the feeling his exploits (two years ago), have got to his head. Back then he was nailing the yorkers (with reverse), beautifully utilising his variety of slower balls and had a sharp bouncer as his surprise delivery. I also feel he was bowling quicker back then.

Hafeez capable of a lot more than 5 overs. We can easily play Haris instead of Malik, giving Hafeez as many overs as possible, and Haris filling in for anyone who doesn't complete their quota.
 
Guys please stop giving Asif Ali the stick his daughter is in a very critical condition please pray for her we don’t know what he’s going through right now may Allah cure her fast ameen
 
Fakhar still on, captain fantastic, why Hafeez is not bowling, Maybe to save him from another suspect action ban.
 
Fakhar shouldn't be bowling more than 3 overs, bring on Hafeez now, what is Sarfraz waiting for?

Regardless of what people might say, but i honestly don’t see what sarfraz brings to the team. Not trying to hate on him too much but just saying.
 
If Morgan takes England to World Cup glory, they should make a biopic on his career. It has been quite a journey.

Malik should have been kicked out after CT. pathetic cant wait for the WC to be over. It took another 4 yrs to get rid of another mediocre cricketer like malik, first average player like Afridi and now him.

Not only is Pakistan’s cricket affected adversely by the seniority culture. It’s time we also go back to the pre-2003 days as a secularised cricket set-up.
 
Poor from Sarfaraz, no sight of Hafeez at all and poor rotation among bowlers
 
Fakhar and Malik both given 1 over too many. Sarfraz should've been happy with 6 overs between them.
