England's misery in the field recently in overseas Test matches

England have found it really difficult to bowl in the 1st innings of their last seven overseas Test matches.The least number of overs they have been on the field is 129.4.Is the lack of killer instinct in their bowling hurting them badly?

9 losses in three and half years? That's too many. No one should talk about Eng dominating at home.

Not good enough playing spin and bowling spin to compete in Asia. In Australia and South Africa, they don't have the pace opitions to get 20 wickets.

It's surprising to see their record because English conditions are not that easy to adjust for away players.I think they might be more unpredictable than Pakistan in test cricket.They have struggled to find quality batsmen.Cook has been inconsistent in last 4-5 years.Root is quality but not reliable and generally gets out when his job is only half done.

They haven't been bullies at home because Root has been carrying their batting single handedly at home while Cook has never really done great at home and Bairstow isn't able to influence games due to gloves work and his batting position.

Away from home, they have succeeded in winning a test series in SA because Broad was fantastic in that series while Stokes established himself as a premier all rounder with the performance in this series.

Anderson todays performance was a fluke as it is coming after a long time but he deserves credit for that and its understandable given his age.

To be honest, England looks like a side with lot to worry because Cook and Anderson are almost done and lots of young players getting drafted in that XI, (3-4 slots with really no settled batsmen).
