I remember he was so bad against short ball that either hit his head or top edge

He struggled against short ball but still was one of his scoring areas. He still sometimes looks like a compulsive hooker and puller but as far as he can keep it under control its fine but, he can still get out playing those which is part of the game I guess. Just needs to better at analyzing which shots to play in which situations, compulsive ones should be kept along the ground in crucial situations.

Problem with leggies is that they are not much accurate as well and if they dont take wickets it becomes really difficult to carry then. Also the specialist spinner in this lineup will also be a leggy so someone like Nawaz or Imad will be better. Hafeez hasnt played even a list A for 1.5 years now and it would be pointless to invest in him keeping 2023 WC in mind. Could have been added for this series though when Saud was injured.

Rizwan opening considering his success in T20s is definitely a call with weight behind it but, the Imam has been a pretty good opener as well in ODIs for Pak. So would be really tough.
