India since 2007 after Dhoni took over has been on a roll with a few hiccups on the way of course but the intnesity of hiccups is minor hiccup compared to the titles won..and this includes India U-19 as well India A teams.
Winning T2007 T20 Worldcup.... Winning U-19 Worldcups in 2008 and 2012, WC2011 trophy winners, Champions trophy 2013, CB series 2008 in Australia defeating Australia 2-0 in finals and that Aussie team was no pushover...WI Celkon cup and now this Emerging players trophy....Its been a good run eh?

Reminds me of an era gone by when India won Worldcup in 1983, Benson and Hedges cup in Australia in 1985 and 4 nation Rothamns cup in sharjah in 1984

Will India do good in T20 Wcup 2014 and Wc2015 in Australia

India are an ordinary t20 team (who cares) but they'll go well in Australia with drop in pitches being used for most games.

Thats why they are the number one ODI team. You need to have that trait to become a number one team.

Shocking how bad even Australia have become, didn't they analyse the rapid decline of the Windies, I guess pride only comes before a fall.

What's funny is we DID analyse the WI fall, the we evaluated that our extremely strong club & domestic cricket would ensure the same fate never happened to us.

Then we dismantled our state 2nd XI's for a juniors comp, causing many experienced but fringe players to retire- weakening the 2nd XI comp badly.
This also caused many good club players to retire earlier- they could no longer seriously push to play for their state if they were over 25 or so because they couldn't make the (now gone) 2nd XI since they were not young enough. So now the club scene is weakened too.

Eventually this weakened the state sides as the boys were no longer playing the grizzled veterans in club & 2nd XI matches (now u23 comp), there were far more young players in these levels but only other youngsters to play against. Instead of getting tough playing against men, the boys play only other boys.

So we saw what led to WI fall (no domestic structure/funds) and then for some reason ruined our own. domestic structure
