Pant should not have batted here. It will only aggravate his injury. He should have rested and batted at 2nd innings
 
The reason this is a total farce is because once an announcement is made, one should honor it.

Yes he is out after this match! Match is going on and he is still part of it... Saeed Anwar enjoyed record highest score for many years faking an injury and having a runner!
 
Pant can be rested for all kind of LOIs (we have enough options), also for WI home test series... Let Jurel get a full run there...

Saeed Anwar didn't use social media to lie. Rather then posting a fake reel about his foot, he choose to hire a runner and play a legendary knock.

Infact Anwar never used social media in his prime. Goat player.

Today more than twice the amount of swing. He is assertive with his leaves and defense. Bowling was challenging. When you bat at 8 you don't think of scoring quickly as India often collapse immediately after one of the specialist batsman.

Real legendary knock was Rohit Sharma's 264 that too in the era of social media, multiple cameras, DRS... and he showed it thrice to Anwar, Inzamam and gang on how to do it even after munching on favorite dishes and retaining a cute pot belly!

Guys, Shardul Thakur was brought in for this game as a replacement for Reddy. He was part of the original XI.

The fielding sub for Pant will be Jurel.

Pant has a toe fracture and he will not play for the next two months - this is the official release after scans. He might just make it for the tour of Australia (white ball) where his box office presence means Cricket Australia might even foot his rehab bills to get him ready :ROFLMAO:

That's it.

And yes, he is not a crybaby actor but a hero. I guess he justifies coming out to bat today to himself by thinking about his car crash just a few years back.

Where did I bring Viv? You always get to non-Indian/non-Pak great whenever the going gets tough between Ind vs. Pak... Anwar didn't live in Social Media era, otherwise he would have cried more than anyone (Pakistani cricketers today are quieter because their performance is also quite)

Rohit is proud (and we are all) of his pot belly because he has achieved all that in spite of it!

No you are correct. I'd be lying if I said I wasnt spoilt. Living in aus for a while toughened me up to a minor extent but now I have servants to clean my room, bathroom and make my food.

I refuse my tie my own shoe laces now :vk2. Jk thora zyada ho gya hai. I can tie my own shoelaces.

Playing against competitive India in 5 test match series... Stokes taking his bowling seriously... England getting back to traditional cricket and kicking out Bazball... It is a good thing for Test Cricket... (South Africa & NZ winning WTC). We want all these 5 teams (SENAI) playing 5 test match series home & away between each other... (NZ beating India at home which none others did for a long time)... Hopefully this will inspire Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other teams... If India and Pakistan get a 5 test match series between them (for that both the political tension should come down and Pakistan should up their skills!)
