Future of ICC tournaments in the subcontinent

After seeing the mess we are in with regards to the 2025 CT - I would like to propose the following solution for all ICC / ACC Tournaments moving forward please…

- All tournaments in the Subcontinent must be cohosted by all three India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.. Neither India nor Pakistan should get to be a sole host moving forwards..

- If India play Pakistan in the Group Stages - it should be played in Dhaka or Mirpur

- One SF should be played in Pakistan and one in India. The teams playing in each country should solely be based on their group standings… No “if then else”… so that an India vs Pakistan SF could potentially be played in Lahore or Mumbai depending on group atandings

- Totally fine if the Final is played in Ahmedabad.

Would like to propose this model for the next 25 years please!

Both BCCi and PCB will walk away satisfied with this prosal for domestic pressure / politics..

What do PCB and BCB bring to the table? This seems like a proposal to get infrastructure built in Pak and Ban at ICC's expense.

Let cricket learn to live w/o India pakistan games. It will be a better sport in the long run.

yep seems to be the case. But hopefully there is a last stand from PCB. Then.. end of this discussion.

There should be no cricket between Bharat and Pakistan anywhere. As a cricket fan i want such premier contests but maturity is realising that national interests are way more important. You cannot have a situation where the soldiers of our country are having to fight the enemy at the border 24/7 and protect the country from their proxy war operatives while the common man is celebrating cricket with the same country. It’s an absolute disgrace and has been for many years only because the cricket administrators only think of money and have continuously compromised our national integrity.

Once the political matters between both countries are resolved and there is prolonged peace, I will be the first person to say forget cricket but just open the borders and let’s be one country once again.

If you are just being a cricket fan first, and want matches and all while not advocating for resolving political issue, you are just in fact contributing delay in peace talks.

I hope same minded Pakistanis will understand my point of view. You and we need to pressurize our governments/dictatorships to resolve the political issues first. Cricket is a very very small and irrelevant part of our relationships in the bigger picture. We have invested billions of dollars on defense while being low income economies because of this matter, all that money if it was spent on public welfare could have been so helpful. Cricket not makes the cricketers and administrators richer.
