I am hoping Misbah is (for some odd reason) resting Haris in this match. Otherwise, this is ridiculous captaincy. What the hell is he doing?!

Once again, batting seems quite average except for Shehzad who has done well (hope he stays consistent), Afridi's score is also fine, needs to slowly creep up around the 40-50 mark.

Misbah should not be the captain anymore, what sort of batting order was this? Hell

How does Riaz and Afridi get to bat ahead of Rizwan, Harris Sohail and Umar Amin

Bullying youngsters

Bcz riaz will play ..... our tail starts at 7 it seems.

Rizwan at 8 and amin at 9 with 3 overs to go. Wow so much you can judge about a player from this situation. Stupid

so the batting order today so far is:

1. Nasir Jamshed (19 runs, ? balls)
2. Ahmed Shehzad (68 runs, 79 balls)
3. Mohammad Hafeez (11 runs, ? balls)
4. Misbah-ul-Haq (22 runs, ? balls)
5. Asad Shafiq (22 runs, ? balls)
6. Umar Akmal (9 runs, ? balls)
7. Shahid Afridi (31 runs, ? balls)
8. Wahab Riaz (23 runs, ? balls)
9. Mohammad Rizwan (12 runs, ? balls)
10. Umar Amin

So if Haris is being ignored because he's overweight, what is Jamshed doing in the lineup?

"cowards" is one word that comes to my mind when I think about our team.

Hafeez is a coward for keeping a top order spot and not moving down. Now since he is playing at the top he is a coward for not owning up and scoring in a responsible manner.

Misbah is a coward for using the same ghissi pitti defensive techniques he is known for. Coward for keep selecting same bunch (like shafiq, who is not an ODI player) and not asking hafeez to come down the order. Coward for not coming at #3 position himself and avoiding any collapse. He deserves all the wrath and frustration from fans like me who have to put up with the team's show time and again.

11. Abdur Rehman

It's obvious those that batted up the order will be the starters against west indies

Haris Sohail is probably injured again. Remember he got injured in the last tour of South Africa as well.

Why can't our reporters grill misbah during the press conference. He deserves to answer us fans with his silly captaincy and tactics.

Yep really hope openers can give a brilliant start so that the failures of others wont effect the match.

pretty good score by Pakistan considering the top order flops

hafeez and misbah will ruin this team ...
hafeez should bat at number 6 or else dont b in team

I've said it before and I'll say it again we need a batsman coming in at 8. Anything less will be disastrous with this batting line up.

246... will be enough for International teams with our bowling, let alone Guyana.

I have said it before and I'll say it again, the real reason why we are struggling in ODI cricket is misbah, he wants his school of thought players in the team meaning tuk tukkers, misbah needs to leave ODI cricket and than we will be fine

easy win for Pakistan here InshaAllah.

The wickets in windies nowadays are quite tough to bat on. Just look at the scores from the tri-series.

And regarding Haris Sohail, he can be injured again for all we know. Just wait till we have match-report and proper updates before we go after Misbah.

Pakistan should think about dropping Mohammad Hafeez now that Afridi is back. Drop Mohammad Hafeez for a genuine batsman Umar Amin.

Indeed. I mean who can even think of scoring 240 against a bowling line up consisting of Marshall (Junaid), Garner (Irfan), Wasim (Riaz) and Warne (Ajmal).

Really curious why Wahab Riaz was sent in to bat ahead of Mohammad Rizwan, Umar Amin, and Haris Sohail when there were still 11.7 overs to bat.

By the way guys what you think about Rizwan? Should he play or not? And U Akmal, should he play also??

Its obviously an indication of the batting lineup that will play in this tour. I would play Haris one down and switch Hafeez with Asad Shafiq in the order.

Apparently, Mohammad Rizwan and Umar Amin are so bad that Wahab Riaz and an unpredictable Shahid Afridi played ahead of them.

Good to see Afridi find some form. Wahab and Amin supported him well, towards the end. I'm guessing Haris Sohail is injured. We shall find out in the post-match presser.

as expected pakistan team is struggling against Gayana. :)
It's actually a pretty good score. And our bowlers are no Ishant, Kumar, Yadav. We actually have world-class bowlers who will not find defending this total hard.

WICKET! Bramble is lbw to Irfan first ball GUY 1/1 Griffith 1* is joined by Sarwan
