This question is mostly from Pakistanis here. Did you ever have any Jew friend? I have had quite a few Jew friends and I remember once a Pakistani came to me and said that you should'nt be friends with non-Muslims because they are 'kaffir'.

I have many many Jewish friends.

The person who advised is a kafir himself

People who don't understand the difference between a Jew and a Zionist are the true kaafirs.

I have had a few Jewish friends and some of them were actually against the Israeli regime.

I dont have friends but have colleagues and meet many particularity from the Middle East region. They are generally fine like everyone else. But I think the ones that regular travellers are more open than others.

Lot more jews near Central London and North London. I take my son near to the RAF museum and I see Jews of all types and ethnicity. My son also talks and plays with kids there.

Slightly off topic but did Pakistan have any Jews?

There is only one registered Jew currently in Pakistan.

My GP is a Jewish man. A very nice man who knows what he is doing. Have never felt any discrimination when dealing with him.

Not a friend, but I knew a Jewish guy pretty well from high school. He was a really nice guy.

Read somewhere that American Jews have a more favourable view of Muslims compared to other Americans such as American Christians. It’s sad that Muslims generally view Jews in a negative light, because we have a tendency to conflate Jews with the state of Israel.

Had some Jew colleagues from Israel. They were against violence and didn't endorse IDF's actions. Normal people like you and me, minding their own business...

I work for a Jewish accounting firm, never ever had a problem, definately been my best employers in Canada. In fact, have always had pleasant experiences with Jews.

However that being said, they are very pro Israeli and a lot of their clients give a massive amount of donations to Israel, Israel Defence forces.

If Muslims and Jews can easily co exist in the West, why not in the Middle East?

I never had a Jewish friend but that doesn't mean I am anti-Jew.

I am anti-Zionist but I have no issues with regular Jews.

One of my close work mates was jewish and I also dated a jewish girl.

Both of them were the nicest people I have ever met. Really genuine and caring.

We would also constantly debate the Israel-Palestine issue, they were both pro Israeli state but not fond of the countries policies.

So there you have it, even pro Zionists can be great people, just seem to be a little brainwashed.

Had a black jewish roommate. Had a jewish professor who rounded up my grade a whole letter grade. :afridi

Are you both Muftis? Should be careful with dishing out fatwas like that. I hope you remember the famous Hadeeth of people who do takfeer.

Yeah I had a couple and from my experience just people like you and me ... The only thing is if they ever tried to bring up politics I would politely tell them I would rather not discuss this and they were cool and in fact apperciate about it.

I had a bad experience when I went into a store once it was a toy store in small mall and the owner was Jewish, from the minute I walked in she didn't smile I asked her a question and she yelled at me for no reason but I knew she was racist I told her off and left the store lol but that's the only bad experience I had so far

I had a Moroccan Jewish mate in my uni acc. He was really nice usually but used to get a bit offensive when drunk. There was a lot of debate about his religion, My friends told me that he was a Jew but the guy told me that his family is Muslim and himself is an athiest.

My barber for the last 3-4 years was a Ukrainian Jew, one fine day he got up and moved to Israel. Since then my life has been in an upheaval. It's been six months and I still haven't able to find as good of a barber. We used to have fun convos during the 20-30 mins he took to cut my hair lol.

The uncle who sits across from me at work is an Israeli Jew. He generally stays to himself, although we are respectful of each other.

Good thing the title was changed from Jew to Jewish. Was really bugging me.

Know loads of Jewish people in Germany ofcourse. They usually don't like talking religion or politics.

Future son in law is French Jewish. Christmas was fun this year as his side of the family was visiting and we had people of the Christian Orthodox, Jewish and Catholic faiths at the table along with yours sincerely.

Not to mention the various nationalities, Pakistani/Arab, German, Romanian, Gypsy French, Egyptian, Canadian, Croatian and Italian.

One quite close friend recently. Contrary to the stereotype this guy would spend lavishly on his friends and loved ones and was incredibly charitable.

Knew a jewish guy in college he was pretty friendly and very smart. He is right now a vp at a bank in NYC. Jewish people know how to talk.

I recently visited budapest, Hungary, very beautiful city at night. Lots of jews I met there. Looked to me very educated bunch and well mannered. Definitely showed better mannerisms that an average muslim in Pakistan shows. The more I travel, the More I reliaze that, Pakistani education is a piece of junk that closes your brain than it opens. Allah has created all his human beings on equal footing-- here we stupid humans talk about who are pious human beings or who are not. Seems like the real Pakistan died with the deaths of Allama Iqbal and Jinnah. Pakistanis on the whole should be the last people to pass on judgement about the world affairs. And, this post is coming from a Pakistani who wants to learn and open his brain about people and things in the world. The world is thinking about building houses on Mars - Here we are pakistanis still fighting over if Kaneria is a hindu why is he eating from the same table that we so called muslims are eating from or if you dont pray 5 times regularly, then you are non muslim- seems like we Pakistanis have a lot of free time to think about silly things instead of creating something innovative and contribute something to the community by and large.

Ukraine.... Brings back lots of memories. You are in Ukraine now or he was already an immigrant?

Some of my best friends have been Jewish.

Though most are fairly secular and do not observe or practise at all. However 2 are fairly religious and one is Israeli actually.

They’re just like any other group. Good and bad.

I don't even know the religion of most of my white friends so for me it doesn't really matter as most of them don't really follow any religion.

Jewish people in the UK don't tend to speak openly about their background. I could have had many Jewish friends without knowing it. The only one that comes to mind is an actual Israeli boy who came to our secondary school, and he wasn't white so he kind of stood out. He got baited relentlessly, and I asked him one day about his background and he said "yes I am Jewish and I'm proud of it".

surely you must have stood out as well, did you not get baited too?

I think people here either don’t know what a friend means or have a very loose definitions of what a friendship is

I had a Jewish friend growing up but his was a very secular family and I didn't even find out they were Jewish until years later, had other Jewish friends and worked with many, most although not all, were Israel supporters so sometimes it was awkward. However, one of the most anti-Israel and anti-zionist person I've ever met and befriended is Jewish.

Why is this question directed mostly to Pakistanis as per OP? How about the the OP and his ilk tell us how many Jewish friends they have? Or how many jewish friends our resident Indians have?

Dont fall for the RSS bait.

I am not dishing out any fatwa. I just meant to say that they are a lot of idiots in this world who would call any Jewish person an Israeli soldier, which is wrong.
