Ishant 350+
Shami 300-350
Bumrah 250-300( tests)
In ODIs, Bumrah will have over 350 wickets and Shami with around 250 wickets.
Agree with Ishant and Shami but bumrahs action is too demanding for him to take 600 international wickets in odis and tests. He will have to cut down on his cricket sometime soon to get more test wickets
If he stays fit, he can get to those numbers. It will be quite incredible if he can maintain his fitness and form(with form, I didn't mean a small bad patch, that is part and parcel of everyone's career).
If he stays fit(considering a few small injuries), I think by age of 30, he can get to 170 test wickets and 225 ODI wickets. By the time he retires, he can end up with 275 wickets and around 335 ODI wickets. One problem is Indian TM prioritizes Bumrah a lot for Limited Overs. He will be used proactively for 2020 and 2021 T20 World Cup.
Bumrah is a real question mark with his action - he didnt last even one year of all format cricket and got injured. even in that year his work load was not that great as he mainly played overseas and bowled less than 20 overs a day.
I think after 3-4 years of all format cricket he would be well advised to save himself for T20s and ODIs.
He has been bowling in LOs since 2016.
Yes which he was managing with long breaks due to not playing test cricket which has the biggest strain on fast bowlers body.

if bumrah quits test cricket like amir then he will never be considered a great player Even if he helps india win the worldncup in 2023 /2027.
He better not quit test. Ever. he should quit t20 or just play franchise cricket apart from test and odi world cups*.
But his biggest strengths are T20 and ODI (Death bowling) - He is not as effective in test cricket obviously stats are inflated at the moment due to maximizing his wickets against WI. India becomes a weaker side without hum in LOIs not so much in tests. So while your point maybe valid for personal player point of view but for team point of view better if he quits tests after 3-4 years.
why you forget the fact he destroyed club level australian batsmen and it is action that has provided him that success he is nothing without that actionthen he won't be a legend and no one will rate him highly.
tests makes legends. Bumrah himself said he prioritizes test cricket. Are you sure he isn't effective in tests lol? he destroyed australia, did really well in South Africa and England as well. It's not all just west indies. He is clearly a generational talent. It's his action that he needs to worry about. He has the fear factor. If he stays injury free he can definitely become a great player in tests/odi. Ball is in his court.
then he won't be a legend and no one will rate him highly.

His number in very short test career so far are nothing great apart from WI considering most wickets he played on were juicy for bowlers and all other bowlers did well too. He is a bigger asset in LOIs for India. Personal he may not become a legend anyway as I can see him having a long career he is already 28?
he is 26. He will be a legend if he is Injury free in TEST cricket.
This guy is a generational player. Doesn't matter, he still performed well.
I want to see how he fares in India. Actually he bowled exceptionally well on bouncy roads in australia. He will always be great on bouncy tracks and flat wickets, probably turners too due to uneven bounce. He may struggle in swing conditions as he hasn't crafted the outswing yet. He did show glimpses of it though.
I haven't seen a player as talented as bumrah since bond. I am not being biased. If they are trash I will say it. This guy is special.
his only concern should be to stay injury free. that's all
In Tests
Ishant - 450
Shami - 290
Bumrah - 300
Ishant has hit a purple patch and he is extremely fit with a smooth action. If Ishant can play another 4 years, he will cross Kapil easily.
Okay good - But I dont see anything special about him other than his ability to bowl those yorkers (Which is modern day LOI would make you a great bowler as batsmen have to score quickly) - He is neither as quick as bond or as tall as him. We have to come back to this in 2 years time for test cricket but so far he seems below Shami in Indian side.
Are you sure he’s fit?
Came back after injury. Got injured again after 1 innings workload
bond bowled in an era where speeds were inflated due to faulty speed measurement devices and also in an era without t20. Bumrah is a grand total of an inch shorter than bond. He can crank it up to well up to 145 plus like he did in australia. Like I said if he is Injury free then he will be a legend in all Tests and odi's. It's up to him to manage his workload.
Shami even says he is special and better than him. shami himself is a great bowler but on PP because he is indian he will.be overlooked.
bumrah has all the tools, Yorkers, bouncers, slow ball, cutters, in swing etc. He just needs to master outswing in swing friendly conditons. We are yet to see him bowl on flat tracks in India. He will be deadly there. His numbers in first class were ridiculously good. Matter of time before he learns reverse swing.
As I said we have to come back to this in 2 years time but so far he doesn't look anything special when it comes to Tests he is a good bowler and certainly worth his place in the team but definitely doesn't come across as one in a generation type bowler. Once in a generation type bowlers look like Wasim, Warne etc.
wasim I agree with. warne was lucky he played alongside mcgrath who put pressure on opposition consistently while he benefited of him. Not to mention they were all a bunch of dirty cheaters.
in PP you are only as good as your last series performance indicates. Let's come back in 2 years.

Same can be said about McGrath then he was lucky to play alongside warne who gave nothing and took more wickets than McGrath himself

Warne is overrated, he was bashed left and right in India
