What about Hobbs?
We can't count Hobbs, there was a distinct lack of colour to his innings.
I doubt Hobbs would have averaged 10 against Steyn.

What about Hobbs?
Player with 10 ODI centuries and 22 MOM awards!IA more to come!
Yup One was against England in England in 2003 I think! The first one was against LankaHas 24 in total actually, two in his earlier days.
I wouldn't say a legend, but he has been a good all-rounder in all formats. He will be remembered as a true legend. Having a great PSL so far!

Hafeez has been in terrible form recently. He'll go down as an above average player who struggled more often than not against quality pace attacks.
However I've seen much, much worse players wear the green shirt of Pakistan. But its clear its time for him to go. He's now well over the age of 30 and is looking like a sitting duck out there.
To his credit, he's generally kept his nose clean. Hasn't been involved in scandals and controversies, seems to have a decent cricketing brain on him as evidenced by his captaincy stints. Don't mind if he goes into coaching if that's what he does.
Has he done enough to be a Pakistani legend?
Afridi will be remembered as a Pakistani ODI and T-20 legend and an entertainer?
Akhtar is remembered as a Pakistani entertainer
But what about Hafeez? The minnow bully with the bat? His 10 economical overs are invaluable to the side even if he does not pick up wickets regularly but does this make him a T-20, ODI legend for us?
Please don't say "As the Professor"
As the Magician

He'll be remembered as a Mohammad Kaif-ish figure.
It's disrespectful to compare Kaif with the "Professor".

New Pak cricket fans don't even know what a world class player is. They think Amir is a benchmark. Lost generation.
Can he be remembered for his stand against Amir?

His downfall began in the 2013-4ish...it's time for him to hang up his...err....helmet?
Navjot sidhu level player maybe?Time to bump us this thread.
Mohammad Hafeez b Southee 8 (20b 1x4 0x6) SR: 40.00
With this, Hafeez's Test career comes to an end. How will he be remembered as a Test cricketer?
3652 runs, 37.64 (ave); 100's - 10
53 wickets; 34.05 (ave)
Navjot sidhu level player maybe?
