What's new

ICC CT 2017, 2nd Semi-final | India [265/1] beat Bangladesh [264/7] by 9 wickets

Still say Bumrah's got one of the best yorkers but he's not the best bowler in Asia.

How does Bumrah's blatant chucks go unnoticed by the third umpire upstairs? Is he sleeping? He's clearly chucking it and it embarrassing that he's getting away with it maybe due to BCCI influence.

His elbow looks pretty straight to me. You think he straightens it by more than 15 degrees?

big_gamer007 so bhuvi who averages 38 in ODI cricket is the best in Asia. Better than Hasan who averages 23 in ODI cricket.

Bumrah has an impressive record but BK isnt anything special.

Don't care if Bumrah is the best Asian bowler or not if he makes his win the trophy ,am all for him.

Yea let's stick to that suits us..

Nah tier 1: bhuvi, Umesh, shami, Bumrah
Tier 2: fizz, lakmal, Pradeep and some other unknown Lankan and BD pacers
Tier 3: Wahab Riaz, Anwar Ali, Bilawal Bhatti
Tier 4: Amir, Hasan Ali, junaid khan etc

:yk2

You're so clever. Thank God you're not a cricket analyst :))

Bhuvi had a poor start earlier but in last 1-2 years he has been great.. Banter aside Hasan is pretty good find for Pakistan and is sure to do wonders.. IMHO Hasan should get MOS for this tournament as well..

Lol guys averaging in 30's and 40's with bowl in tier one. Standard of cricket has declined dramatically

That's how we roll.. Imagine if bad standard of cricket in Pakistan is when any of your players can't even be in top 3 tiers which has players averaging 30+... Sad day for Pakistan cricket

What a poor batting performance in the middle over by our middle order batsman.

Shakib mushy Riad mosaddek none of them stuck around

Commentator "Bangladesh were 161 for 3. They were expecting to double that score which would have made it 300".

Mothers, if you want your children not to fail in math, mute the TV.

I'm still not convinced on Hassan being the best bowler in the world, yes he has bowled brilliantly in the tournament so far and kudos to him but its too early to label him best bowler, the sample size of his performances isn't enough to give him that tag, lets wait and see if he has the hunger and potential to replicate these performances on consistent basis, for the time being we should reserve our judgement.

I am upset with Soumya Sabbir. These two are mediocre cricketers who don't have great domestic Stats.

IPL is not considered international cricket for your knowledge

For your knowledge he's been doing it in international cricket too and has a better avg/econ than your hero Hasan in both ODIs and T20Is.

We needed 300. Definitely 300 would have been game set and match

I don't think 300 would necessarily have been enough. It would have made the game more competitive certainly.

India is certainly capable of scoring 300. They will likely score 265, not a sure thing of course.

where are you dude? you called me it seems on the other thread that has been closed now.. now you seem to be offline. you still think Pakistanis are favorite to win this cup? As per books India have 60% chance to win the cup.. we have not even qualified for finals yet. That suggests that there is a big gap in talent and quality between India and Pak/Bangla.

Decentish total India need to concentrate and not get over confidenct while chasing.. We should win this from here on good work by all bowlers..

If India win this, they will owe a lot to Jadhav's bowling. Before he came on, Bangladesh looked set for 330 to 350.

6 0 22 2

Fantastic!

geraltofrivia Hasan avgs 23 n has a S/R of 25. Bumrah avgs 24 n has a S/R of 30. So idk what stats you are reading.

Bangladesh threw away an excellent platform with some soft dismissals against a nothing bowler.Anyhow thats cricket, bad balls gets key wickets as well.

Should be a walk in the park for India unless their neighbors germs catch upto them in this all important Semifinal and they make a meal out of it which is highly unlikely keeping in mind the belligerent Indian batting lineup and the form they're in.

The current stats which include this match? Unlike you who just read the top part of cricinfo. Go to the bottom part and you get current stats.

And considering the fact that they have played lots of these knockout matches throughout the years. This is big for Bangladesh, not for us.

The funniest things is, whenever some other team is playing, the PP'ers keep updating the bowling speeds. Whenever India turns up, they comfortably ignore it. Even they understand that Indians are bowling way quicker than any other bowlers and especially, faster than any Pakistani bowler. They just dont want to accept it and be embarassed :))) :)))

Last 10-12 overs have been massive, they were looking set for 300+ minimum. Bumrah in particular was brutal with those Yorkers, no one can score off those deliveries.

265 is a decent target, let's see how it goes.

Fantastic!

Exactly good bowling today by Jadhav, been a decent find so far for us..

300 is a psychological barrier. And in a semi final it's even greater pressure. I don't doubt India's batting

Point no 1 , Mishraji is a far better odi fit than Aswin:kohli . Kuldeep Yadav should be in anytime . I can still feel Pandya is improving in every match as bowler . Couple of hit and misses need to go his way . Yuvi ' fielding :broad . Overall India in 70 30 position to win ( as against Srilanka):sanga

Won't be an easy chase.

A quick start can seal the deal though.

One of Dhawan or Rohit needs to score at least a 50 to be assured of a win.

Second that .! The "Champions trophy speedwatch" tread has no traffic in India matches , and every time there is a post about Bumrah/Yadav it's always, "Subtract 4-5 kph for ICC inaccuracy " :))) .

How biased can one get? :))) :)))

Be nice to the neighbors. PHAAAAST bowling is PROBABLY the only thing they have going in their favor -- well, at least in their collective imagination :yk2

its because this is a pakistani forum and we tolerate your blabberings..none of us care about India or its bowlers in truth..

Mashrafe cannot continue to open the bowling if Bangladesh ever want to be amongst the elite..

The batting pitch, fast outfield, big ground suggests that 264 is not enough to challenge India.Even 300 is gettable. The only way to comeback is to knock the top Indian 4 cheaply, within 50 runs and then strangle the runrate.Otherwise it's India vs Pakistan final which is wanted by almost all the posters here in PP except the Bangladeshis .

Bumrah and Jadeja are chckers and so was Harbhaja.Had they not been Indians they would have been banned.ICC needs the revenue so it will never ban any Indian bowler for even if he chucks blatantly.

All this Fizz hype - "best bowler in Asia"

Toothless trundler.

Mustafizur is not the man to go to with the new ball. But Bangladesh management thinks otherwise!

Even dhawan ****** at fizz hes the calmest in the whole team. I guess they do have something personal with bengalis

Havent seen Mustafizur Rahman perform much since 2015. Seems to me he is just another case of a bowler who has been figured out.

Congratulations Indian fans meet you on 18 June and be ready for one epic beating
#No mercy
#babbar sher would destroy Indian batting line up!
