Bhuvi has a career economy rate of of less than 5 runs per over and he continuously plays on 300 vs 300 tracks. If you look at his last 30 odi performances, he has barely gone above 6 runs per over a handful of times. Also he was by far the best death bowler in IPL, he'll have a bad day or 2, can't perform in all matches, don't know which match against the kiwis you are talking about because he hasn't played an odi against kiwis since 2014

He was bowling really well with new ball & got the batsmen in desperate situation. The bottom half SAF has today, if these 2 takes them to 100/0 even in 23 overs, SAF 'll put 300+. In that regard (if he is that good with death overs), I would have gone for a 7+3 spell. That middle 2 overs won't count much now.

All that is fine, I am not disputing whether we he should've bowled an extra over, we are playing just 2 pacers today, so need extra protection at the end, if shami or yadav was there then it wouldn't have been such a problem to save overs for the death, but yeah he could've got an extra over or 2

Jhadav,Pandya have imo been disappointing and remind me of the time we were stuck with Jadeja and Sharma,in the process lost many matches before we started winning.

The process of losing is hurting because it takes a lot of time for them to evolve,incase of Jhadav he is already old and is defn not going to improve on field and running between the wickets,don't feel its worth the pain.
