I disagree. While he may be good, or even great in Tests, he is far from being the best in ODI's. Even Rilee looked miles better than him and he hardly played any cricket. This man has been overrated massively.
 
Phehlukwayo looks like he can hold a bat. Last hope for South Africa.

Who decides which action is fit for being international level, as long as any bowler bowls legal delivers unlike chuchuckers like Ajmal.

Run outs are hurting SA badly, If India fielded better today then they could have ran few more out. Looks like everytime Africans run they run to get out.

There seems to be no intensity no sort of energy from the south Africans none of them even looked disappointed after getting out it was like they already knew what was going to happen.
 
It will be very difficult for Phelukwayo to be worse than Parnell was with the bat but he's certainly trying his best.

Rabada should be coming in at #8.

You are accusing bunch of professional cricketers fixing the match because their board said so,its an accusation being made based on performance.Surely when Saffers were tears in last WC semis that were faked as well?

The same lot that didn't know ajmal was chucking for more than half a decade and randomly decided to rule his action illegal I don't wanna get into all that but this guys action is a bloody joke.

I hope their confidence in DRS grows, and they come to accept it.
 
It's funny, just realised how weak this South African batting tail is than a normal SA batting tail. Probably isn't much of a problem most times as they're top 6 is usually so strong, but it's hurting them today, Duminy doesn't have much to make a partnership with.

Think 220 all out on the cards for SA. Maybe even less.

We used it in the last series against Aus, Junaids,I know you don't like watching ICT but still.

You are missing the point. India never had Wasim, Waqar, Sarfraz, Shoaib, Imran type of bowlers. But they had bowlers like Srinath, Prasad, Probhakar ... type of bowlers who were more successful than our bowlers+ South African Bowlers+ NZ bowlers+England bowlers. But it does not mean Indian fast bowlers are better than them

India will have to steal the Chokers title from SA to lose from here.

Bumrah is easily one of the best bowlers going around in international cricket, despite a very unusual action. And I think I sort of like that, gives him a sense of difference. He's fast, looks fit and has impeccable line and length. It's a pity India plays on pitches that are not conducive to fast bowling, otherwise he would have been rated very highly.

On the same pitch bowlers like Steyn, Rabada will fail and so as South African batsmen it does not mean Rahane/Rohit/Yuvi are better than Amla, AB

Lol, his action no lie looks downright disgusting :))), but I think it's legal and he is very effective.

India seems to have found a really good formula for modern ODI's:

Steady openers
Explosive middle-order
Lower middle-order which can bat
Accurate trundlers to bowl

It shows just how far Test and ODI cricket have become separated. A bowling attack which would go for 600+ at this ground in a Test can keep the score down low enough for the batsmen to pick it off with ease.

The handicaps which are liabilities in one format are actually positive attributes in another.
