It's not a big score but these two have made a decent recovery after the openers got dismissed cheaply. Babar and Rizwan should have done better.

Have to agree - good recovery because it could have been worse. Yes we are 20 runs short but I think these two are building well for Nawaz, Haider, Shadab and Asif to come out and go crazy.

Let’s see.

Yes as this is not a High scoring pitch .160 is very good scored and winnable

100 from 10 is easily possible with so many wickets in hand

10 overs gone. Pakistan around 15 runs behind . Need make up for them in these last 10 overs. Need to really chnage the intent and go for it. On this pitch if you try to play positive with swing petering out now I think it will help

Ball is coming nicely to the bat. First 6 overs are the key when India bat. After that it's classic Aussie pitch with nice purchase for strokeplay

Pak heads went down as soon as they lost the toss. But they should have tried to pressure them rather than letting the Indian pressure and boss them around.

Pakistan need to get Atleast 10 an over from here.
With the ball not swinging now, if they run properly and get some big blows in they can do it. That is a big IF though

If it’s swinging you don’t just drop your weapons.. by that logic scored in eng wouldn’t go over 60..

Negate the swing stand out your creace etc

Tuk tuk batting from Pak .they need the 150 sixes guy to step in ASAP.

I think Haider will do well here.
He targets the short ball but it can also be his downfall.

It will be interesting when he comes in.

What would help is a 17-18 runs off one over before the 15th, will put India on back foot as well.

Underlying issues that date back to our previous generations - “survivorship” and “survival.”

Yes , depends on how India approach the chase.. Kohli will be the key wicket..

This is where a quick stint from Haider could make a huge difference. Risk based approach.

So pretending to take a catch after you dropped it isn’t cheating??? What world you living in

Will you say the say to a bowler appealing for a dubious lBW or a bastmen who stays on the wicket even after a nick. Its all part and parcel of the game.

If they can get to 145, that'll be good by Pakistani standards given the conditions and the skill levels of these batsmen. I probably think 120-130.

It's not the pitch....it was the overcast conditions which got the ball swinging today.

140-150 looks easy from here. Would love to see what Bhuvi and Arshdeep can do later, cuz initial help won't be there every match.

Winning the toss and bowling first here is real gold, the batsmen know exactly how to play those new ball first 3-4 overs, if India top order of Rohit, Rahul ad Kohli bottles this game, it is going to be a real shame

We told you guys that Chacha hits in Australia, we told you before

Iftikhar's running is so pedestrian. I have lost count of how many runs he has turned down over the last few months.

Shouldn't be tolerated at all.

This has turned into a 180 pitch from over 4 onwards.

Ashwin is useless as ever ,how can he played ahead of chahal who played all the years just to give a world cup spot to Ashwin.

For 100 in last 10 overs:

11th over - 10 runs.

Well its a start....

India has missed three opportunities so far. NZ/England/Aus/SA would've probably taken 2 of those chances. Fielding is sos so important for this reason.

he only tuend down one run..

dont know what you are critisizing him for. the fielder was at wickets, you want to get him run out
