ICC World Cup 2023: India (201/4) comfortably defeat Australia (199) by 6 wickets

I'm seeing hate coming out more than logic. If our batsmen are weak, then the lesser said about your batting lineup the better. It feels someone was inherently waiting for such a collapse just to bring out their hate.
I give credit to Indian bowling attack. They are really good. But their batting gets absurdly overrated for some odd reason. I just see too many holes in their games. Who amongst India's top 6 gives you confidence that they will perform when it matters? Apart from Gill I don't see anyone special.

Maxwell is good at what he does but he normally gets you out by enticing a risk shot. Surely you will want your mainline spinner in?? I mean you’ve got Pandya in next who is not know for long innings , now is the time

The thing is india allows these players to get exposure in India via ipl. So conditions are familiar for these foreign players. Pakistan don't have that advantage. Otherwise we can easily trouble the Indians too.

Last time we played a bilateral series don't forget Indians, we won 2-1

You're pretending like no player ever dropped .lol
True. Fielding is an essential part of cricket as much as batting and bowling. Fielding literally loses matches from winning position and vice versa. Pakistanis of all the people know this more than most as their fielders used to miss lots of opportunities created by their bowlers. It's not VK's mistake that Aus missed the catch. If Aus lose from here, then they were not good at fielding, which is one important aspect of the game.

Do Cummins really think that this match will be going to 45 or 50th over? He's saving zampa overs for what?

It's still Aussies match.
2 wickets more and remaining 5 aren't going to make even if only 80-100 runs required.

Alright I've been quite for long enough.

This is an absolute farce! How do you recover after being 2-3? How do not continue with Hazlewood after he got 2 wickets in 4 overs? How do you drop a dolly catch and not even get a hand to the ball?

What a mockery of the game. Just hand India the world cup and stop wasting everyone's time.

Opinions on the pitch guys?
Overall, it is a good pitch for a low scoring cricket match. Provides the balance for high scoring games.
However, one thing I noticed that in Chennai, team batting first will have the advantage in the first 10-15 overs of batting. After that, the match will be evenly poised for both teams. The recipe to win here is to win the toss, bat first and play aggressive cricket in first 15-20 overs. After that , crawl to a target.
In 2nd innings, new ball will swing and older ball would be handy for spinners. It would be a challenge for any team to chase close to 250.

Cam Green with his innocent baby pace & nice juicy harmless length has just transferred the momentum towards the Indians who up until that over were going on Misbah template. This is why I don't have much confidence in Cummins's captaincy, he lacks the typical aussie killer instinct. Why the hell has he waited this long to bring Zampa back? 1/3 of the innings is over & both are already settled & relaxed. If they lose today it will be due to this dumb decision & of course the utter brain fade by Marsh & Carey.

The Kohli drop is unforgivable, and your right , if Pandya is in next why didn’t they go for the kill with hazelwood
