ICC World Cup 2023: India (274/6) defeat New Zealand (273 all out) by 4 wickets

Chapman should have been sent ahead of Philips in this scenario

That's how you bowl kuldeep. Not the crap we saw earlier. Good stuff. If pandya played I think india may have had nz. Now i don't know.

Where was this kuldeep all this time? Oh wait field was not out.

Now he is looking good.

I still feel they are about 30-40 short of where they should be. Our guys showing intensity and fighting back.
When we bat If we minimize the damage in the first PP and if it don't swing big under the lights, i'd back our guys to knock off whatevr they give us

How is it off topic? It's relevant. Did india win that year when away smashed Waqar? No.

Yea nz are chokers themselves. That's already been established.
It's off topic because I quoted your previous post which said on the lines of 'Kuldeep, the No. 1 bowler goes for 70/1'. How is being a no. 1 bowler and getting bashed in a single match be relevant to 'winning a world cup'?

My reference to waqar was not with regards to 'winning the world cup'. It was on how even the greatest of players can fail in the most important of stages. That doesn't make them a mental midget. It's just that they failed on that particular day, that's it.

he went for 71 runs but what impressed me is unlike in 2019-20 he made a comeback today. Well done son tough luck else he would have got Mitchell too.

You don't know anything about cricket .just enjoy the game now .
You don't even know about your own players. Lol. Kuldeep goes into a shell when he gets attacked. It's been proven.
Today is 2/72. Big deal lol

Don't see that Aman 'it does not matter unless NZ win /conditions matter, bileterals do not matter' Guy nowadays

Waqar is not in the class of wasim.

I have seen kuldeep going into a shell quite a few times though. I addressed that. I do think he is a good player but not a great one.

India has not been tested at all this wc yet. No teams batting first put up 300+runs against them, yet!

Good death bowling to rein in NZ given the platform they had laid.

Only 30 runs given by India in last 6 overs.
Kuldeep first 5 overs 48 runs, no wickets and last 5 overs he gave away only 25 runs and took 2 important wickets..
🔥🔥

MITCHELL needs to bat throughout if nz to get above 280 he is the set batsman knows the wicket best.

It happened ~4 years back against Maxwell in an IPL match. He went into a shell, yes.

But did he go into his shell today? Absolutely no!! He kept flighting them slowly, away from the batsmen trying to beat them in the air. That tells me he has overcome his mental midget attitude.

First 5 overs he gave 48 runs. But made superb comeback by giving only 25 runs in next 5 and took two wickets as well.

Which match are you watching mate??

Their fast bowlers are really good. It's guys like pandya and loldeep that can be hit.

Disappointing end NZ should feel. Good death bowling by India.

Fantastic bowling. Pacers are all good. I suspect only the spinners. Loldeep and pandya at times.

Not to be for chapman today
Struggle to see how they get 300 now, would be hard pressed for even 275 with this tight bowling.

Did he go into a shell today? He would have in 2019-20 hence he was dropped but now he is a much improved bowler. He made a comeback and played a crucial role in NZ losing their momentum.

That's because our bowlers didn't allow them to
Or some of the teams just didn’t bat well doing simple stuffs, too many soft dismissals. Pakistan was well set for 300+, then collapsed, BD looked set for 300 plus too but collapsed. I get it’s how you finish matters in odi’s. But some of them teams haven’t helped themselves. Indian bowling is good, bumrah and kuldeep hard to get away from hut surely gotta take others harder!
