ICC World Cup 2023: India (274/6) defeat New Zealand (273 all out) by 4 wickets

Mitchell is some player.

NZ putting India under pressures and some cracks are showing. Playing Henry on here won't be easy.

It sounds like it hits something lol but ball never touched the bat

NZ usually aren't hyped as good players of spin but they have played kuldeep really well. He's not usually this expensive.

Bruh why are we comparing different eras 😂😂.

Bradman should be God lol
Because firstly Bradman played only in 1 format while sachin excelled in 2 different formats. secondly the big Don himself said he says himself in Sachin when Sachin played.

Today, Kiwis were 150/2 after 30’1 …. That day PAK was 155/2 after 29’3 - no analysis, criticism today?

The biggest fun for me that day was that Indian players were trolling PAK players for their “lack of intent” …. & here in PP some people took that seriously - lots of analysis, references, name calling …. emotional out burst - though I was never convinced how, “not showing intent”, between over number 20 to 30 can justify 8 for 36 from a position of 155/2 of 29’3.

May be after so many years in this game, time for me to take a fresh lesson - Fundamentals of ODI game 101
Very well said, we had an amazing platform laid and then our middle order failed to make use of it. That was literally the only problem.

actually looking back. Bumrah also cost india the wtc final vs nz. He was the worst bowler that day.

Good strike from Kuldeep, hope he gets his confidence back a bit

Bradman was fake god like there is another Fake king also . every one knows who is the fake king :bobs
How is Bradman a fake god? Someone like Tendulkar with zero equipments, Razor thin bootleg wallmart bats, damp pitches, banana swings due to ball tampering + Body line 170kph watta's to the face and zero field restrictions so you have 5 fielders down the leg side placed wouldn't last a day 😂😂, let alone Bradman still averaging 55 with all this nonsense that England pulled lol.

Tendulkar would be dead if that happened.

Batting got easier and easier over the years lol, and larwood with his stupid watta nonsense is superior to any bowler on the planet, even Joel Garner.

Granted I don't rate larwood, no one does, everyone knows he's a cheat who would easily be banned in cricket if he played in today's era, but still, Tendulkar with all these limitations would get cremated lol.

Tendulkar doesn't even lace bradman's boots.

As for babar, Babar isn't a fake god because no one considers him a god besides some nonsense critics. Everyone knows rankings are a joke lol. They've been so for the past 10 uears lol.

This world cup has already exposed the fab 4 lol

He was good in his first spell. Do not pass judgements on great players so early
Speaking facts. Failed in wtc final. Failed in nz series away from home. Averaged 30 31 when everyone else was averaging under 25.

Also in t20 he only did well in bilaterals. Failed in the actual t20 game however only 110 to defend so that's understandable.

3 solid hitters left for New Zealand, they just need to play short cameos

Captain's privileges, that was plumb.
Was just saying how well they hav played kuldeep, hopefully they don't collapse now.

Seems like you have gone silent on the "mental midget" Kuldeep making a comwback by dismissing Latham. Love such silence they speak much more

When was the last time Indian fielding was this bad? It must’ve been years ago?? Are they truly just terrified of playing New Zealand? I don’t understand
They are playing near the Himalayas where weather is much more like New Zealand than India. Cold and cloudy, so Indian fielders are really struggling in these conditions.

Tendulkar wouldn't have lasted even a second against watta cheat bodyline + ball tamepring 170 kph illegal larwood especially if you gave Tendulkar the same equipment those horrible bats and no protection that Bradman had, + completly nonsense field settings lol.

No one even averaged 10, everyone was averaging 5, except Bradman who even in this illegal game still averaged 55 and 51 against Larwood lol

Failed because we tried.
We will fail again and again.
And then we will win.
Hoping for some failures in your life too

What he still got smashed overall. Acting like he got a 5fer.

Latham was someone who always used to score against us. Good to see his back cheaply this time

He is a great bowler but for someone who is high quality and performs so well vs SEA and Pakistan now, his struggle vs nz is weird.

Alright Indian fans .our batting need to tested before knockout game so just enjoy the game .we want to Chase anything close to 330 .

Kuldeep 1 for 66. Can he do something now

Forget about us. We dropped Warner and paid for It. We were never favourites. You guys are.
Going by the fact we haven't defeated Kiwis in any ICC tourney game in over 2 decades, don't think we were favorites for this game

Sometimes i think you guys go too hard on him
Whole world is better than Babar
He is a class act, am not convinced about him being the skipper do not see any real strategic innovation from him.
But as a batsman, he is a must watch. Maybe your media goes overboard in hyping him as the next Zaheer-Inzi-yousef-younis etc, but the guy's cover driving is next level. As an indian i am a fan

Good over this from Kuldeep after the hammering he received

I am speaking about Kuldeep here. he provided a vital breakthrough when we needed it. Atleast he didn't completely surrender and made a comeback especially when we dont have a 6th bowler.

But does a cover drive win you a match?

I just feel we are having a collective bad day. We havent fielded like duds for a long time so it was bound to happen.
cant see Jads dropping that catch neither for jazzboom.
They have had a lot of luck as well withthe reviews, the edged boundaries etc
Maybe this is our one bad match, lets learn from this and come back better.
That said, we could still be razing down whatever they set...lets see

One difference in Indian approach will be unlike NZ who targeted only kuldeep, India will target every bowler if they survive first 10 overs

Players refusing to dive on this outfield but Indians will say outfields more lush than New Zealand greenery

World's best spinner 1-70
Lol, Waqar younis who is 'supposedly' one of the greats of the game got absolutely pummeled and pasted by a 'mere' ajay jadeja in a quarterfinal. According to your logic he's a mental midget and a nothing bowler, isn't it?

By the way, how's the so called 'No. 1' team and batsman doing in this world cup? I can't see him in top 20run getters, even.
