That's not true. Look how many players India groomed from garbage to world class. Rohit sharma was garbage, Rahul was garbage, Gill when he came onto the scene in IPL was garbage, Siraj was garbage etc etc and now their all world class.

Look how many players NZ has groomed., the whole ravindra playing blinders, he isn't ravindra improved due to practise against Pakistan and him being allowed to come at no 3 and make it his own.

We had an entire team that won us the emerging acc Asia cup whereas our main clown team came last in Asia cup super 4.

Other teams play 2nd string to groom their 2nd string players into World class players and Incoprate them into the main team.

We played our 2nd string against afghanistan and in the 3rd t20 saim ayub came strong and dismantled the afg side, but unlike NZ that didn't care about losing to pak 4-1, our nepotsitic management used those losses as an excuse to justify why rizzu and Babar are important.

In Sri Lanka test, We won because of Abdullah and saud batting, Imam and Babar did nothing, they were garbo on that tour.

That's why I said saud would come good, a few test matches and he went from being a wall to having a significantly higher Sr then imam and Babar had ever had in their test career.

We have talent, we use the no talent excuse to justify nepotisim. Make saud captain or make haris captain, a guy who's literally proven to win you a tournament and give haris the emerging acc cup team for 4 years and see how they all become world class.

We won't ever do that, it'll be the same old story, we bring in new players under pressure situations last minute and hope for miracles after pur loser nepotisitic team eventually gets exposed against 1st string. We did that with sarfi replacing nasir jamshed in 2015, we did that with fakhar replacing shehzad in 2017 and now we are doing that with saud and Abdullah replacing agha and fakhar last minute with zero practise games before.

Why wasn't saud and Abdullah your 2 best test players and guys who single handidelt won you the Sri lanka test series given a full go, during the NZ odi series, the afg odi series and against Nepal in Asia cup? Why bring them in now and expect world cup miracles.

You have a captain, he's the guy who won you a tournament whereas our loser captain finished dead last. They ain't passengers, they haven't been groomed and we will continue using the lack of talent excuse. Reality is, no one is naturally talented, it doesn't exist, Sachin took 70 God damn innings to become a world beater batsmen, talent is cultivated, India, NZ, Aus, Eng all know how to cultivate it, Pakistan doesn't and deliberately does not know how to.

Today players need to remove Misbah’s defensive tuktuk Tactics out of their head! No slow innings no dot balls. Keep making singles and doubles! I hope who ever is batting with ifthikar! I advice them to yell at Chacha if starts tuktuk
 
i think we need to be optimistic pak can chase 350 under super flat track but above that no chance.
 
What is that NZ lady talking about? we got 1 more over from Hassan, 1 from Rauf and 3 from Afridi. no need to bowl anyone else.
 
SL need a good finish...min 360.

Why our spinners failed to develop or learn anything under Saqlain? Even Moeen & Adil Rashid became better bowlers after working under Saqlain
 
Must say that Pakistan's fielding in this game is very ordinary. Lankans taking doubles where it should be ones.
 
Saud, how could you allow them to come back for 2 there.

Pakistanis complaining about high scoring pitches (300+) Well unless we don't get back to old rule of using 1 ball throughout the game, we can never bring down the average score below 300 or 250 in ODI games! If we try to make the pitch deliberately to support bowlers, then it will go to the other extreme (very low scoring affairs). Only combination of softer ball & pitch can give advantage to bowlers (reverse swing for seamers & grip for spinners) in the middle overs.

But having said that, if bowlers, fielders & captain get their act right they can restrict the scoring considerably. Also if batsman apply themselves they can score briskly even on wearing pitch (like how Kohli & Rahul batted the other day). Its all about skills & application! Pakistan are behind in this...
 
To put things into context, Sri Lanka did score 322 against the Saffers when they had scoreboard pressure of chasing 400 odd is definitely no mugs with the bat...
 
Sri Lanka well on thier way to get their first win in World Cups against Pakistan! They missed in 1996 as they didn't get the opportunity to meet each other!
 
What a pointless innings by Shanaka

His performances are so suspicious against Pakistan
