Bangla struggled against Pakistan in chasing how can they take on India??

Guys it's 2012 WC scenario all over again, pak win must win game vs australia, then india and australia play the last match but australia win but not in required scenario, and pak go through, the luck can really see us through semis totally like 2012 and if we beat Oz then there shouldn't be any questions that whether we deserve or not after that, but hope from semis onward story is different this time and we don't get kicked out in semis. It would be epic math troll to Oz and india, and there will defo be a thread on PP "India and Aus played and pakistan won" poor indian got kicked out even after winning three out of four matches in that 2012 group stage. Can you believe.
 
We should think about aus match than these matches involving minnows. Total wastage of energy.

That's why you should first read and understand the post. The Bangalore track is a batting paradise compared to Eden Gardens which had something for the slower bowlers. And with the dew it will only get easier. Lastly its a small ground so ideal for guys like Tamim, Shabbir, Mortaza (if he cares to bat).

It's the only way Bangla can get somewhere. It's not that they do not have a good batting line up.

If India scored 225+ what chasing is possible?? Where are big hitters in Bangla side?

We will demolish Bangladesh but yes, above will create less embarrassment for Bangladesh since we find a bit tough batting first.

Bowling like an associate team ends the story. That's how they allowed Pak to score big. But, but they still would have a chance on this small phatta track. That's how AFG got close to RSA's score as well.

This is for sides who rely on their batting. Pak for example would always struggle to even chase 160 on a flat track.

I guess you're an Indian? Yes, Indians are masters in chasing scores. I would never ever allow them to bowl first unless it's a Kotla or Nagpur type pitch.

Dhoni, Kohli, Sharma are so good in this regard. Sharma is also due one.

Sharma s inclusion is simple.

If flat track, bring him in.

If not, kick him out.

No middle ground lol.
 
Apparently we can't get NRR upgrade inspite of this match,we should just look to win it nothing funny.

They don't have batting...they have highest dot ball percentage & lowest boundary percentage among top teams...
 
So GLAD! Soumya in the middle order. Good decision.

Mash needs to use his bowlers wisely, give Riyad 4 overs, Hom 2.

I'd gone with Nasir instead of Mithun and opened with Sabbir. Nasir could easily give 2 handy overs, plus one of the best fielders in the side, Nasir could have batted at 4 with Sakib going to #3, IF Sabbir was made to open the innings. Mithun is a passenger!

I think if Bangla can restrict India under 175 they are well in it...need to get Rohit early he might score 175 on his own...Dhawan will also be dangerous

Frankly we should concentrate on only winning now. As we lost the toss. NRR will be a second thought
 
I don't know who is our fourth and fifth bowler, if Mash only bowls one over then Riyadh and Hom will need to make up. Should have picked Abu Hider
 
If Bangladesh plays with discipline today they can easily get rid of the FTBs,plus batting first Kohli will not be much help.
