Must say Pakistan's think tank continues to blow me away. They really looked at Talat and thought it was worth having this useless player over a match winner caliber player in Hassan Nawaz.

His career SR in T20's, including domestic matches is 125. Has little to no ability to hit sixes.

Only reason I can think of is they may view Hussain Talat as more able to rotate strike, whereas Hasan Nawaz's hitting ability is negated by these big Dubai boundaries and slow pitch.

But yeah we figured out Hussain Talat wasn't a T20 batsman in 2018. Not sure why we recalled him. Even in PSL his SR is 123 !

I guess they had that plan but execution was flawed depending on Talat to get the big hits. Nawaz or Haris might have been better options to hit Dube. Now against the spinners both Nawaz and haris will struggle.
