We need these games against the best to get better for the future, especially when we actually want to improve and give players the opportunity to develop. A few tweaks to the batting today & we could have had an imposing total.

The bowling is a tad dimensional, especially with someone like Shaheen who is meant to be leader of the pack, but we should have backed our specialist spinners on this pitch, especially the leggies considering the low bounce.

India have the resources, players & structure but their tactics today have been spot on.

But I back this Pakistan side till the end because they will keep trying to play modern T20I cricket, there will be many hick-ups along the way but I rather this then give players too much power and have a toxic dressing room environment designed to cripple Pakistan’s future and more suited talent.
