Good luck trying to "rebuild" with TTFs like Kapugedera, Tharanga, Thissara, Prasanna etc given countless comebacks and wasting time on a half fit Malinga and over the hill Kulasekeras. No long term planning or consistency with selections always chopping and changing. Absolutely clueless. Can't really expect the players to respond favourably with idiots running the show.

I think, sacking Ford was the biggest mistake - he was punching well above, with this team, and should have given time. Apparently, it's he, who left, but I don't think it's that straight.

Hopeless that's what SLC is. No forward planning or direction, rubbish domestic set up but still no sign of anything changing due to board politics, no consistency with selections, corruption and mismanagement, no proper marketing of the game, only one of the top nine without a decent T20 league, playing musical chairs with coaches and support staff, below par facilities and the list just goes on and on. Tbh I can't think of anything that SLC have done right last one and a half decades or so. Been living off ICC and BCCI all this time but that won't last for much longer at this rate with no Muralis and Sangas to hide behind. I actually feel for the players tbh they are really up against it. Their futures are in the hands of a bunch of idiots.

When we need more competitive teams for cricket that time many teams are degrading.Pak,wi,sl all are degrading. Hope that Pak will bounce back soon. But nothing hopeful for sl and wi till now.
