India (237/3) beat South Africa (221/3) by 16 runs in the 2nd T20I in Guwahati

When will these dinosaurs leave our LoI cricket?

Bavuma has no place in t20 side. qdk is very much a timid kitten when he's needed the most.

We were not too far ahead of SA at this stage, just 8 runs ahead.

Whosoever sees any quality in this trundler is simply blind.

Agarkar saying this trundler's go to ball is slower ball.

Lol, as if anyone can bowl any slower than what he is doing.

Miller was the only one who could do it. He has done it several times in IPL. Today might be his day. India has no death bowling option. Also a bowler short.

This is one of the most t argetable bowling line up you want to have. Nobody can bowl well in death bar Arshdeep. So he must get a good over here somehow

Fifty from David Miller
Fifty from Quinton de Kock

South Africa keeping the fight on

Imagine what would have happened had SA didn't have a brain fade during our innings.

We might have lost this game due to these trundlers.

Chahar making a strong case for himself. 24 off 4 is quite extraordinary to be honest considering the scores

More leg side dross from the trundler. Cherry on top it was a full toss too.

Dekock is remotely close to his best. Still managed to make up somewhat. He is tired and totally wiped out.

It always is.

You remember we played 3 WKs in game as important as ODI WC SF!

You can't get dumber than that.

We had 4 if you consider KL as well plus MSD, Pant, DK

At that time (2019) I was discussing with my friends regarding options such as Samson, Iyer, SKY, Gill

I will never forgive Kohli for that selection blunder.

Also, not sure Rahul was part of our ODI XI in that WC.

Another no ball, another free hit. All 3 occasions, Arshdeep was the culprit.

Another boundary off the trundler. 56 runs conceded with a delivery still left.

India has become too casual and lethargic in the end overs. Took it for granted. wides, noballs,

62 conceded by the trundler in his 4 overs

We are digging our own grave by giving chance after chance to this trundler brigade.

Both Miller and QDK have played blinders in the IPL many times. So no surprise here against this bowling. But still India should have defended much more comfortably.

Thank god we didn't send Pant ahead of Karthik today. We would have surely lost this match had we sent him above Karthik. Karthik's cameo in the end is going to save us today. :inti

top 100 this one! Superb one, crowd applauding coz they love him as wel!

We are almost as pathetic as SA were with ball. Just that they had to chase and had Bavuma as a handicap at the top of order.

QDK should had played faster too but yeah Bavuma lmao

Rohit is not happy , good your team is absolute trash.
No one is happy on ground for obvious reasons.

Unfair to compare chahar/Arshdeep/patel/Axar vs Nortje/Rabada/Ngidi/Maharaja. SA has a much better bowling attack. Indian line up is rookie line up also lacks experienced death bowing option. Also ball was even wetter in the 2nd half. Still cerdit to Chahar for landing yorkers with wet ball with precision.

India wins by 16 runs. Great century by Killer Miller chasing a mammoth total

Poor bowling from him, took it for granted.

Axar patel vs left hander in 20th over with wet ball, lol that is a certain recipe for disaster. I won't be hard on him there. india was a bowler short with no Pandya. So they had to use all the bowlers.

Anyway, it was still an impressive win when you consider the fact that it got even harder to bowl I the 2nd innings here. Ball was coming on beautifully.

Well done, team India :inti

I agree. Overall impressive performance in yet another bilateral series.

True that.

Yeah. We are an exceptionally dominant t20 side in bilateral t20s. Destroyed NZ, OZ, ENG even in their backyards.

Just can't seem to get it together for tournaments lately :ssmith

One of the most boring t20 and totally loaded in favour of batting....

I would put t hat down to lack of depth both in bowling and batting.

Strong bowling side will win as always. I would rather depend on good bowelrs than good batsmen. if a bowler makes a mistake he can come back. I don't like the idea of depending on winning battathons.
