You do realize he is coming back after a very long time right? He was still mighty effective. First 4 overs just 8 runs. He was hitting the splice of the bat. He can bowl heavy ball.

I'm aware what he's doing. I'm just trying to get entertained by a clown. If the admins ban then fair enough, I wouldn't blame them but the trolls in this thread make it difficult to discuss cricket.
 
148 kph he bowls effortlessly. But he has to add some ingredients to be more lethal. Shane bond had more tricks in his bag than this guy.

He is new to international cricket. Will pick up some skills to compliment that pace like fire.
 
Dhawan got him. Perfect line and length from Boult. Wouldn't call a bad shot in a one dayer. It was just a good ball.

Playing cricket (of high quality) is difficult. In fact understanding cricket can be just as difficult. We can clearly see that from the players as well as fans of this team.
 
King will be in now. Hope his back is okay. He has been little off color since he picked up this back injury.
 
Trent Boult is quality. No doubt about that. India's only weakness is left arm seamers. Boult should make the most of it.
 
Pandya is way better than any third seamer for India OR any No.6 batsman for India at the moment PLUS he is our best fielder along with Jadeja! So he is such vital for the team, only thing is you shouldn't compare him to Sobers and call by names! I don't mind if he cannot play in Test Matches, its enough if his service is restricted to LOIs!

That's why I said this game only. I haven't really seen Pandya bowl that often. Shami when younger was consistent 140K bowler, probably still is but he is primarily a test bowler.

There is nothing wrong with what I said. Please watch the game to see the speeds the bowlers are bowling. Also, my post is related to IND/NZ game, it was not off topic.

His value was realised after he missed a few games and his replacements were found not upto the mark.
I do not see any valid reasons why people want every Indian player to be greater than an all time great. He is doing well and is improving with time. That is all one needs and expects from any player.

He is good bowler, just not yet ready for internationals. And you will be thankful for early investment in him when we will reap its rewards.

Because Indian population is 1.3 billion and is cricket powerhouse, so one should expect every player to have 60+ average with bat (including every possible variable like - damp green pitches of England) and 20- average with ball (even on flattest roads but only outside Asia & WI!) But still there will be a new scrutiny after that! (like the opposition did not field their best XI or they were not as good as past WI & Aus teams!)

Bond was a master. Pace, bounce, swing, accuracy, intelligence had everything. it is tragic beyond words how a potential goat career ruined by injuries.

shami bowls upto 146,pandya can crank upto mid 140's
Even bhuvi has increased his pace and this is the speed shown by Star not me, One has to be absolutely clueless in his hatred for India to not see this.
 
Will be good of Kohli to finally hit his 40th ODI ton in this game, as he may not play many in run up to the WC.

He'll be playing the ODI's against Australia. That's what the BCCI release announcing him being rested said.

May be Star are allowed to show Indian matches in Bangladesh only if the speed of Indian bowlers are shown there as 10kmph slower. :srini

The speeds I gave you is that they bowl majority of the time. This is their range. In BPL, two BD bowlers were shown to bowl at 147K as their stock ball, it doesn't mean this is what they bowl on average.
 
Kohli hasn't looked himself for sometime now, except for that Perth ton. May be injury has taken a toll on him.
 
The ease with which Lockie has been dealt with so far, reaffirms that pace isn't everything.

I was thinking the same, should skip IPL if it comes to that, we need him at his best for the WC.

The thinking probably is, that would've disrupted the natural state of this team. Giving him a couple of ODIs and only having him skip the last 2 maintains the balance and preserves the state for the WC, while also providing him the needed rest.

Shami has always been a high 130's to mid to late 140's bowler, bhuvi has increased his pace it's not one off same with pandya, who can easily crank it up to 90 mph, there is a difference between a one off 91 mph and doing it consistently, offcourse their is a slight difference of bowling it consistently in test series as well as here but you won't understand As ur username suggests full of emotions and less of substance.
