They should look to target Pandya if they are to have a chance of chasing this down.

That was such a poor shot by AB lol..Pandya is hardly any effective with the bowl.

Past it since 2016 barring one NZ series. Ofcourse not a great chaser back then too but atleast used to take the game close with few random victories while chasing.
 
Kohli has the greatest brain while batting, same time he has the most childish and stupid reactions while on field and especially as a captain.. pathetic to watch!!
 
If SA don't lose any wickets against the spinners that 'll be massive achievement for them.

If SAF fail to chase a best a per score in a series saver, because of Pandeya taking their No. 3 & 4 in his 1st 2 overs, then they deserve to be called Chokers.

Scores quickly although bit inconsistent as of now but he is practically new to international arena but still has notable batting and bowling performances.
Bowls well and gets wickets, and good ones at that. I am assuming you agree AB and Duminy are not tailenders.
What else do you want ? Thor when batting + bowling as accurate Spider man shoots his web...

Pandya has almost won it for india now its spinners turn to do.if they do their job doen handsomely, SA has no chance.Otherwise bumrah and Buvi is not gonna save them.

I rate him very highly actually. AB and Duminy played poor shot though lol. Pandya is very good player on his day but not the reliable man. Ofcourse, I will have him in my XI at 7.

Many posters dont want him in the team. So I asked.

Kuldeep is bowling either too full or to short. He needs to get his length right.

SA batsmen are playing these spinners out by milking them for 4 or 5 runs without any risks.

Should be kicked forever. Not sure why Manish Pandey isn't playing after his 100 in century. Is he also BCCI's fall guy just like Fawad Alam is PCB's?
 
Indian fielding standards have dropped badly with the influx of new faces. Even the reliable catchers are dropping.

Iyer/Jadhav are pathetic fielders and catchers.

Atleast Jadhav has an excuse of being 33 for being a poor fielder.This guy has none.I dont care about his batting.We just cant have poor fielders as our batsmen in LOIs and T20s anymore since we have too many of them in waiting.A dropped catch can cost you a game in LOIs and T20s.
 
The pressure was on Miller to score due to Amla bhai playing like MSD. Too many dot balls.

What batting? Haven't seen this Iyer guy contributing anything. In other words he is a team ka bojh and we should send him back to domestic cricket.

Iyer had a few good games against Lankan trundlers where smashed 2 fifties I think. Getting badly exposed in SA against good pacers.

Iyer reminds me of Rayadu.
 
Miller is a big time hack against turning ball. He got away with few swishes. Fact is half the time he doesn’t pick the flight or turn

Pandya, Afridi , Andre Russell are all players who are what my coach used to call " lottery performer''.They will not be consistent as they are no Botham or Sobers or for that matter Kapil.They click with bat or ball...they win you games in matter of few overs. Does not matter when they bowl or bat.
I can relate to them as in school and college cricket, I used to be such a player.
Our coach used to gamble on me.I either won my team games on my own or gave aways runs in dozens on a bad day. On good days I used to get 3-4 wkts in space of 3-4 overs. (Note we used to play 25 over a side games). Sometimes I gave away 50-60 runs in 5 overs too which in 1990s- early 200s in school/college cricket level as was still a bit too much.

Amla coming back in form in simlar way as rohit did today. Both were flops in this series.
