What's new

India (329) defeat England (322/9) by 7 runs to win 3rd ODI - Win series 2-1

Pandya probably thinks if he has done one thing right on any given day, he must not put too much effort in the other 2 disciplines.

This might not be a hugely significant match but if Curran finishes this, this might go down as an ATG knock.

Boundary off a full toss now. Thakur being the culprit. England favorites now.

Just saw how Hardik dropped Sam when he was 22. Makes my blood boil. Such a pathetic effort that was.

Win or lose, this is a tremendous innings by Sam Curran.

England’s approach won them a World Cup. The debate over the result of their method is already over.

They adopted an approach and they triumphed. The critics were wrong about them.

Barely. No English batsman had a SR over 100 and they won that final with the age-old approach of 'consolidate at the start, up the tempo at the death'.

Bhuvi's one over might get the better of Sam Curran and Mark Wood.

Insipid bowling.

If England lose it sill come to their brainless batting.
They should have wiped the floor with India

Hardik's dropped catch looking very costly at the moment.

Rana this is why Curran is playing. Be a man and admit you were wrong.

Shadab and Faheem cannot play an innings like this in their dreams.

Neither can Moeen though.

They wouldn’t have made the final without their aggressive approach. They backed themselves and smashed India and New Zealand to smithereens in must-win games when people wrote them off.

Had they adopted the age-old approach they wouldn’t have made it.

The final was on a slow pitch and in fact their positive intent made the difference in the end. Unlike New Zealand, they kept going for boundaries even when they were losing wickets, which meant that they scored a lot more boundaries than New Zealand in the end and that is why they won the tied super over.

Smashing this Btec international bowling attack on a flat deck and we are supposed to go nuts.

Well played none the less. Pressure is something

Amazing by Curran..
The man who averaged 9 with highest score of 15 is on the verge here.

19 off 12 balls

England would need at least 10 runs here to be in the game. Curran has to bat maximum balls from now on and look for some boundaries

Curran is a very good cricketer, at least at home, in the format that really matters.

That's enough to show his value as a cricketer.

Why did Kohli have to go up to Wood for? Umpire seemed to have a go at Wood, as well.

Fantastic by Curran so far.

Nattu will bowl the last over. Congratulations England, you were the better team today.

Shadab and Faheem cannot play an innings like this in their dreams.

Neither can Moeen though.

What has Shabab and Faheem got to do with a India vs England game. Every thread you use to just demean Pakistan. Get a life and grow up

That's how Thakur should have bowled, Curran won't have anyway taken singles.

Imagine losing a series after 37 years at home because of a Zimbabwe import!

We should stop playing cricket altogether. Taking things too casually.

Lol the first match England did an almighty choke job.

Now India decide to pay it back with interest to England.
