India [332 & 106/2] beat Australia [300 & 137] by 8 wickets in the fourth Test, win series 2-1

Man, I would love to visit Dharamshala..so beautiful. Don't think the GOI would give the go ahead to my visa app though. :inti

Beautiful batting wicket and a patta right now.

Aus will post a huge score. Indian batting is lol worthy. Basically 3 batsmen and a few all rounders.

I know some Pakistani-Canadians who'v gotten the Visa - they were going for a wedding though so not sure worth a try I'd say. Dharamshala isdef on my list after seeing the backdrop of this stadium bloody hell its beautiful
 
India should have gotten another batsman in for Kohli and Shami should have been playing for Ashwin ..
 
Is there any Test that Smith didn't get a 50+ against India?
 
I think Jadeja needs to give some lessons to Ashwin on how to make it turn .....looks like the only threatening bowler right now
 
I would love to sit in that stadium with some nice sun and DSLR and capture the mountains ......definitely going on the bucket list

Probably Kumble's last Tet as Coach. Overall results are not much important, since IND played mostly at home & in WI; but team selection for this Test is horrible.

Bit of assistance for pacers initially. Both pacers bowled poorly. Too many hit me balls.

Ow the pitch is totally flat. 600 on the cards here for Aus before tea tomorrow.

Indian joke batting lineup will be exposed thoroughly .

Aus won a crucial toss. Their bowlers getting ample rest now after they almost looked dead in the last test.

The rate Aussies are scoring, if they put 575 by an hour after Tea tomorrow, it'll be impossible for IND to save the Test with Ashwin coming at 6.
 
16 test matches in 8 months is an overkill

What a stupid team selection! This venue needs 3 seamers + 1 spinner combination for all normal circumstances. But since India has 2 quality spinners, they can stick 2+2 combination. And since their confidence in this down, they should not play 5 bowlers and dent their batting. And since Ashwin is not in good form, we could have went on to play with Kuldeep in his place (or stick to him if his experience is needed in such a crucial match).

India should look to draw this test match now, that's their first priority especially after losing the toss. And even Australia have made strange selection going with third pacer. So draw should be the priority. Hence India should all look to contain the runs (in the event if they are lucky they can put pressure on Aussies). Poor captaincy from Rahane so far. Let's hope India bat well
 
India don't have a single batsmen conducive to the condition in this match who could bat at the same level to Warner and Smith in terms of aggressiveness except maybe Rahul.

India's chances of winning would be null if Aus scores 500 here.

This pitch would have been a luxury for a completely fit Virat Kohli and without him chances are null tbh.
 
This match is done and dusted. Team selection is horrible, only 5 batsmen? If Ashwin was tired, even he should have sat out and Iyer should have been drafted in. Ashwin has been lacklustre this entire series.

Australia can score close to 400 today and declare at about 650-700 tomorrow. That will be enough for them to win the game.
 
Those drooling over Dharamsala probably haven't been to California.

Besides, Team India really isn't finding Dharamsala to be so beautiful at the moment!
 
Lol Clarke just said that once Warner gets set, he plays spin well. Apparently he can't even after getting set.

Scoring rate will decline , they probably will end up scoring around 350 at the end of the day if things go well for them.
 
Indian's are missing kohli and his captaincy.. don't see any result other than Australia's victory.....
 
Handscomb was looking so uncomfortable today. Sitting back mostly and was never fully forward.

Really impressive captaincy by Rahane after lunch.
Pulled the match back by rotating fast bowlers and Kuldeep on the other hand.
Not allowing new batsmen to get settle.

Poor handling of him (both captain & coach). Bhuvaneshwar was so effective in last IPL season. A good thinking bowler, should be given right advice & get best out of him!

Cant compare IPL and international test matches. Kumar should be kept away from the test side.........
 
This Kuldeep is a good talent. India have as much depth in the spin department as Australia have in the pace department.
