India choking in ICC tournaments for the last 10 years

There are teams like NZ and SA who are perpetual bridesmaids - much bigger chokers than India.

And then there's Pakistan who can't cross the line even against associates like USA. I suppose there's not enough resources to beat USA according to the logic of some half wits
 
I am actually with khyberlion here. The dude hasn't spoken much to trigger people in my opinion. I don't know why people targeting him.

Despite being pampered by ICC and despite being the richest cricket board, India won just 1 ICC trophy in the last 12 years (that too against choker South Africa who couldn't score 30 off 30 balls in final).

I don't think they are winning anything big anytime soon. Highly unlikely.

New Indian players are only good for bilateral T20s. I expect them to fail in World T20s.

You can discuss Mediocrity anywhere and its won't changed the reality .

Don't worry pakistan already reached at the bottom of the table so from there Only improvement can happen in next WTC cycle

Anyway, I can talk about any team I want. I don't live in Modi's India that I can't criticize India. Not sure why these Indians act all entitled.

Just like you, I also enjoy whenever India lose. These obnoxious fans have made India unpopular.

Once Bumrah retires, I think India may get a massive reality check. They may start to lose ODIs and Tests left, right, and center.

Only in T20 bilaterals, they may dominate a bit because most teams don't play their full sides. I expect them to get their butts kicked in World T20s.

They probably would've lost 2024 World T20 final too but choker South Africa simply choked.

India did not choke in T20 world cup recently. yep they did choke in some finals but they also won something in this time

Agreed, Indian posters need to learn to respect other countries + other posters opinions and who they can have as their favourites without judgment
 
Pakistan in
- 2021 T20 WC semi-final --> didn't choke
- 2022 T20 WC final --> didn't choke
- 2023 ODI WC match vs. Afghanistan --> didn't choke
- 2024 T20 WC march vs. USA --> didn't choke

Because, the team is mediocre. But, what about Bangladesh..well, the team is a joke.
 
They have won 1 tournament but are still the most dominant team in last 10 years having produced ATGs such as Kohli, Bumrah and Rohit.

I am clearly disappointed with Kohli and Rohit for unable to dominate ICC Tournaments like Australia in last 10 years despite having some good bowlers like Bumrah and Shami.

If these 3 are gone soon in all formats india will win more icc events.

T20 tests and ipl is all that matters
No one cares about odi anymore. Oz can keep their odi. No one cares. Hehe

You favourite team is Pakistan who is at the bottom of the table. I know it hurts when you follow domestic cricket of a nation and that nation's team fails spectacularly.

India has won the second highest number of icc tournaments, making us the second best team in trophies.

I can understand the banter or dislike of Pakistanis. They have been our rivals. Pakistan has also won multiple ICC events. Pakistan has produced some great Cricketers.

Its funny when a Bangladeshi tries this. Poor team. May be one world class player in its history. Never won a senior ICC event. They try to stand on the shoulders of others. And end up doing nagin dance.

India is the current Champions Trophy winner, T20 World Cup winner & was undefeated in the 2023 cricket World Cup till the final.

Truly a very comprehensive and solid run. Bitter Pakistani fans who will blame today’s victory to Dubai pitch lack this important context.

I would not even include ICC Ct as a main trophy but only to rub it the faces of people that kept whining about ICC trophies since past 2 years.

If Rohit had been captain in his prime, we would have won more trophies for sure. We instead had Kohli who was a poor LOI captain for a long time. We would have won 2023 too but it was a pitch which backfired and nothing Rohit could do.
